I am talking about the historic Berghoff located in downtown Chicago. It was a perfect dinging experience, with some delicious food and excellent beer. A great place to have brunch before a day in town.

Nice place for a GREAT sandwich and some decent brews. Hey, their beers ainít the best but itís nice to have something other than the typical BMC junk at an airport. The bartender will give you samples if you ask (at least the lady tending bar did that for me). The food is excellent; the sandwiches are made after you order them and the meat is cut right in front of you. I had the bratwurst and my wife had the roast beef. Like I said, the beers arenít the best but if you want a decent brew or two in OíHare that isnít your typical macro crap, stop by and have a sandwich and a beer.

For an decent beer while stuck in OHare, itís a good choice. Decent Huber-brewed Berghoffs - light, dark, a seasonal, thatís about it. I prefer the more comfortable Goose Island stand just inside the AA terminal, near the connection between UA and AA terminals (next to the Wildcat WWII plane) - spread out tables for sitting quietly contemplating the Chicago weather out the big windows. The newer íTuscan Cafeí at the other end of the UA C terminal has a much bigger bar if your looking for traveler conversation, but donít want to fight for a seat. Expect airport prices at all of these.

Pretty crowded. Lady at the bar indicated brews are the same as served at the old brewry restaurant downtown - but it doesnít brew - contracts out. Itís a good place to get 3 or 4 ticks without going into town! Pretty decent lagers - and maybe the best beer in the whole airport. The best in area has to get a somewhat decent overall! NOTE: That best beer part has changed - Goose Island is now in place just a short distance away!

Didnít have food, just a beer in the very cramped space near Gate C22. They had 3 Berghoff on, and a bunch of other uninteresting stuff. Forgetable place, though I guess I enjoyed the Berghoff Dark over a Bud Light at a normal bar in the airport.
52 = ★ (Borderline whether this should be on the site)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Located just outside gate C-24, this is nothing more than an airport bar. The food is pretty good and the beers a little below average. The prices are what you should expect in an airport.

Great food for an airport, and a nice change brews. Although very watered down for the public, The dark ale was pretty tasteless and watery but the little taste it had was pretty decent. Expensive!

A super cramped space that felt somehow even more chaotic than Goose Islandís OíHare location. I waited a few minutes before I was able to claim a few square inches at the bar. There were 3 Berghoff beers on tap plus a couple of bottles. I also spied a couple of cans from Revolution. The dortmunder I tried wasnít awful, and (relatively) not bad value at $7.50 for a 16oz pour. Overall, not an essential stop by any means. OíHare surprisingly seems to not offer much in the way of good beer.

Donít expect much. Beers are just decent, always the same ones on tap and only a few to choose from, the Huber made Berghoff beers. The food is decent for the airport. Very small and very hard to get a seat here often times.
