Really good place to shop in San Diego, and you if you want small bottles you can mix your own 6-pack, which is really nice for ratebeerians. They had an impressive selection of imports, but also equally impressive selection of US brews. You can also buy malt and other stuff for brewing your own beer as well as it being a regular grocery. Prices are very good too.

This is a great store. It’s inside the Super Jr. market. The selection is awesome and Sid is really knowledgeable. You can find lot’sof great stuff here.

This looks like a cheap liquor store upon entering. This changes when the beer cooler is examined. This was the best selection I had seen in the San Diego area so far. Almost everything is kept cold as well. Prices are decent, especially considering it’s right downtown. Rarities, locals and the all important Pliny the Elder were here. win.

Hiding behind the facade of the Super Jr. Market is this gem of a store. The brothers who own this shop are serious beer nerds who have done an outstanding job fitting a lot of beer in a small space. This is the only store where I’ve gotten Pliny every time I’ve asked, even if it was only a bottle per visit. Other rarities will blow your mind (Lost Abbey, FiftyFifty, so on and so forth). They treat regulars like royalty so if you live nearby, stop here as often as possible!

Conveniently located near the airport, this shop carries a large stock of great beers, including Belgian beers and some very rare San Diego area brews. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Sid runs this shop in downtown SD. The area is pretty rough, but the shop is amazing. It is inside Super Jr. Mart. SId is very knowledgable and gets all the great releases. The customer service is unparalleled. I refer many people to his shop because he is such a great guy and his selection is insane.

Damn,this is really a great beer shop. Beers from all over the world. I think reasonable prices. The staff is helpful and friendly. I wish, I had such a shop on the corner of mine street.

I am afraid some of you just don’t know what Ghetto is. This is 7 blocks from my work and I ‎decided to take a nice lunch time stroll up to see this place. Sure I passed by a few bums a few ‎vacant windows and an occasional wiff of urine, but please tell me where in Downtown San Diego ‎that isn’t normal. I felt safer walking to this store then I do in broad daylight in downtown El Cajon. ‎I don’t get why people are so quick to call something Ghetto. Go to 12th and imperial if you want ‎to see Ghetto. Ok, on to the review. This place is so discreet; I thought I was at the wrong place ‎until I saw the beer shelves in the back right hand corner. What a selection! Plenty of stuff to keep ‎you busy looking at for 30 minutes at least. I felt rush as I was on my lunch break. They have a ‎service deli that informed me today was half off sandwich day Tue and Thur). So I ordered a nice ‎Salami sammy that the lady cut fresh off the salami roll served on sour dough and ate it back in ‎the office. It was great for $3. I will be back when I can buy some beer. The prices were fair, and ‎the selection was outstanding but typical if you go to any of the hot spots in San Diego County. ‎Bev. 4 Less, South Bay, and Holiday have all the same stuff as this place.‎

Fantastic beer store that had alot of 22s cold and nice 6 packs. You could get alot of beers from the local area and the prices were right. Im not sure how good of a selection it has compared to other California beer stores as this is my first.

Love the wall of Beer, staff was very helpful. Had almost every I needed and more(No Alpine). Selection was off the charts. Will be back for more.
