Yep, I am a place whore. This is a below average BevMo. One shelf of beer, nothing spectacular. A few interesting things like SIlva Stout, but otherwise ho hum.

Easy couple of place rates when combined with the Whole Paycheck. All the usuals/standbys like Chimay, Stone, random Hermitage, Bear Republic, etc. Of course, a few local products. Most of the beers out on the shelves, as always, with some of the big sellers in the cold box. Service and price are typical of a BevMo.

Conveniently located in the same shopping center as a Whole Foods. The selection is definitely bigger than that of Whole Foods but itís mostly overlooked stuff because people want their beer to be rare. Of course you still get the greats here like St Bernardus, Orval, Chimay, Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas, etc, and they have some Santa Cruz locals, but nothing that the beer nerds are going to go crazy for.

Service is sparse, prices are better than your average bottle shop, not much else to say other than.

Decent selection of craft beers, mostly common stuff, this location has less turnover than others. Prices are a bit high. Line staff is pleasant but not terribly knowledgeable, the store suffers from poor management at the local level.

Bevmo is hard to judge because it does have a ton of beer, but it is mostly average stuff that sits around way to long out of the cooler. I donít buy much beer here just because I donít trust its freshness. There are some cooler windows, but they are mostly just for your mainstream craft 12ers and 6 packs, and then the standard macro stuff. They get many special releases that are available in the area and tend to put them out later than other places, so if you are looking for a special release that is out at other places, you might want to stop by here. No single sales from packs, but they do have lots of singles from europe. Not the most interesting selection but it is broad. But this is also itís downfall. Am I really going to buy a 50cl bottle of german helles that has been sitting warm on the shelf for who knows how long? Bottom line: hit up 41st and if they donít have what you are looking for, check bevmo out.
