It was pretty huge when this place opened because it was far and away the best selection of beer (and alcohol in general) in the area. While others have caught up a bit, still a solid selection, and they seem to have put some effort into making one or two beer aisles focused on California beer. Last I know they had two guys on staff that were pretty knowledgeable about beer, and you can get some decent deals with the club card.

Visited numerous times since early 2006.

Of the dozen or so bevmos Iíve been to this is I think the 2nd best. They have 4 aisles of beer (including the section dedicated to thr big breweries). I can always find something that I want and something that I havenít had before. My only problem with their selection is that they donít really specialize in any one type of beer, they just have a little of everything.

The service is pretty good. They always try to help and they usually donít leave you standing around looking confused for long. The only catch is that most of them donít know much about beer. They leave all the purchasing to the one beer guy and he really only knows what hes tried at the store. But aside from that everyone there is pretty helpful.

If you are looking for something specific, ask someone to look it up in the computer because sometimes they can order stuff that they donít normally carry.

Just Like other bevmos but this one is close to my work, I try stop in this place once in while, the beer guy over there is nice guy, but they donít carry Russian river beers, I have to drive to corona at el cerrito liqour for all my rear beers, other then that it is great place to buy ur common beers.

I first started going to BevMo when I got into craft beer as it was the only place my friends and I knew of that had a good selection. The staff has generally been friendly. I was used to just walking in a being greeted kindly. However, recently they have begun to be rather aggressive as far as carding people immediately upon entry. This isnít a problem for me, but since I have been without a car for awhile, I sometimes have to get a ride with a roommate or friend who isnít 21. They do not seem to care or understand this. Thatís a big knock, in my opinion, as Iíve never had this problem at other stores. The selection is pretty good, definitely a lot better than you can find most other places in the area. Decent mix of American craft and imports. A better wine selection, though. Overall, if you donít know of any other places to buy beer in the area, you should stop here.

Your typical bevmo store. Lots of selection including your average big beer producers. I especially like the selection of craft brews but sometimes pay for the beer. Overall okay place, just like every other bevmo.
