Second Bevmo stop of the day, mostly for a breather from the brewery hopping. Another only semi-interesting Bevmo but this one in Temecula where the beer scene has exploded in the last couple years. They have the usual import selection of Belgian beer like Chimay, Rochefort, Duvel, Maredsous, and Westmalle. They have the usual boring UK beers like Guinness, Bass, Boddingtons, etc. They have the same German beers that everyone has like Spaten and Weihenstephaner. The only things that differentiate a Bevmo (in my opinion) are: 1) do they have Orval? And 2) which American beers do they have? Well, I saw no Orval here but they did have a couple of San Diego beers that I hadnít seen at other Bevmos. I bought a 6-pack of Pizza Portís Ponto Session IPA. I love that stuff and I was happy to see it less than two weeks old. Certainly not going to drive to Temecula for that since I can get that anywhere in Southern CA now but it was nice to see.

If youíre in the area this place is worth a look. They seem to pull in a good amount of harder to get releases by BevMo standards and yet they are somewhat under the radar so the beers tend to hand on the shelves longer than youíd think. They also have old standby beers like Stone IRS at really good prices ($5.49 per bottle).

Great variety, but the prices, service, and quality of beers not as good as Old Town.
