Thereís an on-site room for tasters and growler purchases. You canít actually purchase half or full pours to drink here but they will happily give tasters free of charge. I picked up a growler to go of a new seasonal and the beers are solid. They are opening a new larger facility so BtP are ones to keep an eye on.

Best craft brew in Ottawa! In the up-and-coming Hintonburg neighourhood, which is easily accessible by bus or car. Staff is always really friendly and helpful. Lots of tasters, good variety, and great swag to pick up too. On the pricier side, but completely worth it!

2013-XX. Small little spot, tasters, bottles and growlers available. Staff were friendly enough and seemed relatively knowledgable. Decent selection of their own beers. Neighbourhood is not particularly central. We stopped on the way into town in a car, Iím not sure how transit accessible or what else is in the neighbourhood. Perhaps I should explore more? Worth a stop if you are in town, but is more worth it if you are planning to buy bottles or growlers.

Very modern concept and along with Beauís, probably the best brewery in Eastern Ontario. Smallish operation, in one of the hippest area in town, but on a side street that looks like nothing, with on-street parking only. You walk in, grab a few growlers of super fresh, perhaps a tiny touch pricey, but then again often excellent brews to go -also available in 1L, and you appreciate in the comfort of your home. We often say that every neighborhood of any half large city should have its brewpub, but perhaps we should say instead that it should have its taproom where you can buy a few growlers to go.

Efficient place to get growlers and half growlers of a very decent lineup, best brewer for many miles. Tasting room and big expansion plans. Worth going when in city centre at the end of 2014.

Great little shop close to the Parkdale market. A couple of taps if you wish to have taster with loads of 32/64 ounces growlers. This is worth a stop if you wish to try some of Ottawa best local beers.

Awesome nanobrewery in the heart of the Hintonburg neighbourhood. Friendly service. 5-6 beers available in 32oz/64oz growlers and 22oz bombers. Great variety, theyíre regularly brewing one-offs, special editions and collaborations beers. Always something new to try. Check it out!

Visited March 1, 2013 at noon. A relatively young brewery (opened in fall 2012 I think) and it has a good clientele. The brewery is open to the public only three days (I was there on Friday) and the opening (noon), already half a dozen there awaiting. Simple looking place, next to a art gallery. Small tap room slash store, only four beers on tap but they a bit more for sale. The four beer that was on tap where quite good, better than what you usually get in Ottawa, itís four for $4, or free if you get a 64 oz or two 32 oz growlers. I like the 32 oz, they look like big medicine bottles. They do have also 22 oz bottle for some of their beers. Parking is street only, on Hamilton Avenue is free for a hour, but you donít need more than that. So if your in town on the weekend, this is a must visit.
