Modern decor, small walk up bar mostly for growler fills and pints served in plastic cups. No flights. Fortunately the server was very generous with the samples, served in 2 ounce plastic cups. Beers were OK. Almost unheard of in modern beery America to not serve flights or have decent glassware.
Stopped by with a group of friends from the area. Attentive sufficient staffing behind the counter by the taps. Liked the promotion of tasters before ordering. Had a good selection of beers. Wish they had a tripel on at the time, but they didnít. Nice "homey" seating area. Smells like a brewery, which is bonus points in my book.
In an industrial area. Nice interior. Staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Very nice selection of beers - very glad to see such a variety of ales, Belgian and German styles. Pretty convenient to I-69 and 465 for those passing through. Only wish they had later Friday hours - would stop all the time.
Small industrial feel to the building, and a pleasant malty aroma met me as I opened the door. Nice selection of some really solid beers, and the staff was great. Despite a steady stream of people coming in for growler fills, they were very friendly and attentive. Iím looking forward to future visits.
I was impressed by Bier. Small and really nowhere to sit, but the staff was incredibly friendly, and they had a nice selection of very good beers. Growlers only at the moment, but theyíll let you sample everything, which was cool. Iíll definitely be back.
Stopped here while in town and gotta say, itís pretty awesome. Tiny brewery, basically a huge homebrew setup right now. But they make outstanding beer. Only had 4 on when we stopped in, though. Service was top notch and dug the clubhouse vibe they had going. Really cool place that Iíll definitely hit again. Growler only for now, but they have samples of everything on tap.
Ambiance is industrial chic, service can be a bit lacking on Fridays (they really need a bigger bar area) but if you go in there on a Wednesday expect to have a good conversation about beer. Good variety they tend to have 6 to 8 beers for sampling at all times. The variety goes from wheat beers up to some very nice porters. They donít have any food but if your lucky there might be a food truck there on a Friday. The prices are kind of high from 12-17 bucks for a growler but they do sell half growlers that they fill for half price. Overall Iím glad to have this brewery in Indy.

Stopped in tonight, I guess after they closed. One of the guys working let me in, and there were a couple of other customers still there. They close pretty early (7pm) but they also donít serve food so they canít serve pints. These guys have a pretty nice tasting room with random cool things throughout. I guess there is a metal working shop nearby because they had some sculptures in the form of Star Wars characters and other metal artwork. The beer was decent and the samples were free and they had 8 different beers to sample. Beer here is sold pretty much for carryout in growlers and half growlers, but I was also told that they rent the space out for private parties and live music. The other intersesting thing is that the lineup of the available beers changes every week, one customer was talking up the Saison that was coming next week, but Iíll be out of town :(

Located in an industrial-feeling area. Big tasting room. Comfortable looking couch setup but no one took advantage of itas people were stopping by mostly for growler fills. The employees were on one hand nice, but on the other hand I felt rushed as I was trying my samples which did not leave me feeling inclined to take advantage of the aforementioned growlers. Growlers are cheap but growler fills are on the high side. The beers are fairly average though they do tend to have some solid wheat beers. Hoppy styles are over hopped and they tend to over carbonate.
And the service score plummets to the lowest possible score because Darren the brewer thinks that just because a competition liked his beer, that means I should like it, and that he should send me a note telling me so in a most rude fashion. Knocking the overall down as well to commensurate. Itís a shame, as this place clearly has a local following and they clearly have potential. Not that Iím from the area, but I was planning on returning next year and this is one place I surely wonít be visiting.
Just got an apology message from the brewer so Iím re-raising the scores a bit. Hopefully this saga is over.
