This is a nice and welcome addition to the centre of Antwerp. The staff had a genuine interest in the beers they were selling. Service was good, if anything they seemed overstaffed on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Westvleteren 12 was available for €12 per bottle. However the ’value proposition’ was surely St Bernardus Abt on tap at only €3.30 per glass. Prices in general are very good which makes it a place to stay in for a while rather than just 1 or 2 drinks. The only negative was the open sewer smell coming from the toilet area. It’s not the only place in Antwerp to suffer from that though.

Solid little beer bar located in central Antwerp. The interior is fairly modern and dark. The selection is good, but not great. They have a fairly comprehensive tap and bottle selection with no particular stand-outs or beers I had not seen elsewhere. Saying that there was still plenty of good stuff for me to drink and re-visit. Service was friendly and very attentive by Belgian standards. Food was also rather good if a little pricey. Much better opening hours than Kulminator so if you’re in Antwerp I’m sure you’ll find yourself here. A decent stop.

Pretty good selection at reasonable prices. Interior is lacking in atmosphere - the kind of generic beer pub seen the world over - and nothing like the Amsterdam original.The music is too loud. Worth a look but not a patch on the Antwearps Bierhuiske around the corner.I assume AMAI, TIGRA & MICHMARR(see below) work for this place as their ratings are rediculous and slagging off the competition AMAI is very bad practice.

This place doesn’t need the spam reviews. It can stand on its own. Gollem’s a restaurant/bar located in a touristy part of Antwerp. Clean, sleek ambiance. There’s about 25 taps plus 150 or so bottles. There’s plenty of your standard Belgian offerings, but the list is curated to include some nice stuff too. I can’t complain when St Bernardus Abt 12 is on tap for a good price. The food is definitely worth trying. My portion of ribs could have served a family of 4. Prices were quite good considering the location. The service was better than average for Belgium. Overall, this would be a good spot to grab lunch if you’re on a crawl through Antwerp. Recommended.

My 999th place rating. Fantastic atmosphere here - friendly and welcoming, like drinking with your old school buddies. Amazing architecture, and the waals are covered with blackboards that show the large tap list and the extensive bottle list, including all (yes, all) the Trappists. Food is very tasty, especially the ribs, and the portions are huge. Beyond all that, prices are low for the area. What’s not to like? Thanks, kraddel, for taking me here!

Great space, but a bit too commercial for my taste. Lots of expected beers and plenty of tourists. Loud, and not particularly worth the effort. Perhaps I caught them at the wrong time, but not a fan. Sorry.

300 beers on the list but not all available, better 100 good beers than 300 with a lot of really commercial beers. If you go for beer tasting and they are eating mussels close to you, it isn’t great.
