Although it’s not as good a beer bar as the Kulminator, I’d sooner come here when I’m in Antwerp simply for their addition of a large and well-priced food menu. The beer selection is large. There are some more uncommon bottles offered. The service is also better than I’ve come to expect in Belgium (everyone is very friendly), but unfortunately, in the three times that I’ve been here, we had one waitress who would serve us who couldn’t seem to get our beer orders right and didn’t really know anything about the list. However, she rectified these problems by having someone with a more intricate knowledge of the offerings come over to our group.

Placed right on the main square, beautiful interior, 30 beers on tap + many more in bottle. The guys are very nice and they suggest the beers asking you what your tastes are. To top it off, the food is very high quality, tasty, and HUGE portions! All, for a very fair price.

I have been here a couple of times. Quite a nice place, couple of beers that were new to me & haven’t ticked them all yet, overall a solid selection, good beer and a couple of sours at very, very, very good prices for a bar, overall prices are agreeable, nice snacks, haven’t eaten here yet but the snacks were restaurant appetizer type – neat. Location is good and service is apt – indeed oddly (for me) in Holland dialect – they were cool with us having a small tasting, friendly. The staff was not bad and appeared to be into craft. Now they have most of the beers on the menu, bit too stylized perhaps for me but there is not much bad to be said for what is a pretty good place. Seats seem to be available always. I wouldn’t say that this is a must visit beer geek place in Antwerp but certainly not a bad place to check out or have a drink at.

Ok place, pretty cosy interior. Weird to be served by Dutch (and I mean Holland Dutch, not Belgian Dutch) waiters in Antwerp city. Very elaborate beer menu, prices are ok for this location (right next to the city hall). Did not eat, but might give it a try on one of my next Antwerp visits. At least I got a place to go now, until the Kulminator opens up in the afternoon. ;-)

The location of Gollem is nice. Close enough to touristy areas. My timing was a bit off, as there was construction work going on outside. Inside, the music might at times be a bit too loud, especially considering I went there in the early afternoon. No reason to play loud music indoors, really, seeing how I was the only one indoors! The selection is quite decent. You get the "usual" selection of Belgians that you would expect from any better Belgian beer bar. However, you also get some De Molen’s for decent prices. The DSB Black Albert, one of my favorites, is offered here at a very decent price. An earlier review (by BelgBeerGeek) states that they stock more De Molen’s than they list on the blackboard, something I will have to ask about the next time I visit Gollem. The service here was very friendly, but I have not visited during peak times. I am still unsure on what exactly Gollem is trying to be, though. The selection hints at aspirations of being a specialist beer bar, but the loud music and focus on food makes it a confusing combination. I would love to see some Danish and/or American beers added to the list.

Interesting new beerpub with two for Antwerp unusual features: 30 different taps and a serious number of international beers. That feels like Holland, and indeed, the owners are Dutch. Friendly service, nice bottled list - the tap selection is okay, but not as adventurous as one might expect. But maybe that’s going to change over time, it’s a new pub after all. Don’t miss it!

Counted 300 beers in theory, although they are pushing for 400 and may get there. "In theory" means that helter-skelter list on the walls plus the taps, of which there were 30 with not many surprises. One was the Gollem Blond, made for them by the Musketeers at Proef. Didn’t eat but the food menu is ambitious -- maybe too ambitious for a simple beer café that wasn’t especially crowded -- and looked good. Definitely worth a visit but the Bierhuiske around the corner seems to have a clearer vision and stronger (not longer) list for now. Lot of potential, though. Great location on Suikkerrei, between the water and the Cathederal. Friendly owners.

realy fun place to sit. i can never drink ’just one’ .. the crew is amazingley friendley and maybe even the main reason i go there so often. they have the good basics ( karmeliet, chauffe, palm, that kind of stuff) some struise ( not to much , though) and a couple of international beers ( such as de molen) nice beginning, some extras, but nothing realy rare. good prices, though..since its onley open like a month i’m lokking forward to the future to see what this becomes ! you can also have sdomething to eat here, mostley made with beer !

Antwerps newest beer bar. Nice atmosphere, good food. The beer is a bit expensive.A bit of a missed opportunity. The tap and especially the bottle list is made up out of bulk mainly. Too little monuments, too little innovation, too much mediocre beers (Tongerlo, etc). Next to none Oude Geuzes, for example. The owners are Dutch, but should play the Dutch/foreign card a lot more. Why aren’t all the La Trappe-beers on the list, for example. Rare De Molen brews (there are a couple of them, but there could be more) could attract a crowd that is currently unserved inAntwerp: quality non-Belgian beer drinkers. Other foreign beers? Maisel from Germany. The owners should go and have a peep in Brussels at Moeder Lambic. If Gollem can pimp it’s list, they might have a chance, otherwise I’m afraid that the cheaper Antwaerps Bierhuiske (less beers, but the list is way more intelligent and diversified) will compete them out of the market

Best beer place i have been to. Opened to weeks ago. The people knew their beers. Nice location in the neighborhood of the cathedral. Not to crowdy, good beer selection. I liked this much more then delirium. The only thing that is a little minus is that theres no vintage beers, and they could perhaps have some more sour ales. But deffinetely a world class beer pub
