Nice place but for tourists, . A good beer-card. Bartenders are not great, less knowledgable than in other bars in town.

Touristy, but interesting place. The food is very decent (I had the rabbit, but my table guests were all happy with their dishes). Prices are more then OK to be in the heart of the city. Nice selection of bottled beers, draft is rather mediocre. Staff is really friendly and helpfull!

They have some great beers but this place is always packed and not so handy in you just want to pop in for a few beers.

Classy tavern look with lots of wood and stuff. Looks a bit like an old upper-class English pub. Medium size, sits about 50 people, most places are rather small in Brugge. Beer selection starts with 8 boring tabs. Nothing on tap interesting. Bottle menu is a lot of fun though. Big thick book with pages and pages of beers. No crazy sought-after beer but even the most extreme ticker will find something he s never had before. And for those looking for quality over rarity they have the classics, including Westvleteren for about a very acceptable price of 10 Euros. The place offers full meals and I found the food average and a bit too pricey for what it was (welcome to the toursity Brugge). The beer bread was very nice though. All in all, certainly worth a stop.

(Visited July 2012) Nice restaurant and beer bar quite centrally located in Brugge. The place is fairly big and interior goes in brown wood. It was quite crowded on our visit around 5-6 PM, but we managed to squeeze in for a couple of beers. Service was efficient and helpful. The beer selection is quite impressive, with hundreds of bottled Belgian beers, so finding some new ratings was not a problem. Didn’t try the food, but it looked good. Worth a visit.

Nice woody interiors for this restaurant in the middle of Bruges centre. Only problem is how crowded it gets on a weekend. Anyways, if you can score a table, bottles selection is vast and they have some good taps as well. Food is rather expensive but very delicious. Not necessairily a beer destination, but certainly a good restaurant with a large beer selection. Staff cares only about seating customers, no chatting on beer.

Very nice place with a certain touristy polish to it. The beer list is damn impressive, though, and includes all the Trappist breweries, Struise, Cantillon and 100+ more. A bummer: they had Fou Foune listed for a bargain price (appx. €12) but, alas, were out during our visit. The food was very good, if not particularly cheap, and the staff was friendly. The place is somewhat upscale and quite clean, so I would say it’s a great place to bring your significant other if she (or he!) is more interested in a nice dining experience than a big beer list; you will get both here.

A really touristy spot, but it is pretty good as well. Good food and a really huge list of beers including a decent amount of lambic (though they were out of three things we tried to order). Service was kind of surly, unfortunately. Not cheap, but nothing in Brugge is.

Visited in September 2012. Spent a Sunday evening here. Service was very impersonal and rather rude. Each time we were addressed in English, despite being plain Belgian customers, and I guess that says enough about the clientèle that comes here. Oh well, one can try to forget all of this, by nosing in the big beer menu. Not all are gems, there’s a lot of plain boring industrial beers, but there’s a lot of them. And there are quite a few very decent options on the menu, so it’s definitely worth checking out. You’ll probably want internet on your phone to check which beers you had or haven’t had before yet. We had some fingerfood here, which was pretty decent. However, because the place is overcrowded, is seen more as a restaurant than a beer pub and the service was really bugging me, I don’t think I will be back. Only exception: the bartender who was working his ass off, while still being very friendly, making a little chat, etc... Respect.

Last visit on Sunday 8th July ’12. I’ve always felt this place is more akin to a restaurant than a bar, single roomed with a raised level. Popped in for a drink at mid day and the place was already busy, we bagged the last table by the window. Had a bottle of Cantillon Brucosella 1900 GC and here’s where the great service kicks in ... we needed to head off and meet our other halfs after 20 minutes or so and I didn’t want to rush this 750ml of Cantillon goodness. I asked if we could book a table for lunch at 2pm and if they could put the bottle in the fridge for me until then. No problem, We arrived at 2pm and depsite being packed our table for 6 was ready and waiting and my Cantillon was brought over immediately! Food was excellent, I had rabbit casserole in beer sauce with croquettes. The portion of mussels was enourmous! Beer list is good, 3 or so hundred bottles and laid out in a colour coded format by style to aid your selection. Have also visited here on Saturday evenings in the past where it has been chocca an the service more patchy, but they fully deserved the 10 last time round and the table service throughout the meal was first rate also.
