Nice restaurant. Not many people when I visited. Selection is decent, nothing extra ordinary but a bit more than can be expected from a restaurant.

First time we visited this place, the plan was only to stay for a late lunch, buuuuuuut they had so much nice beers so we ended up staying there till late in the evening. Had a lot of great beers, nice food and superb service. The atmosphere is very cosy. Placed close to the town square, this place is visited by both locals and tourists, which gives it it´s own special atmosphere. For sure one of my favorite places in Brugge to visit, either for lunch, beer or both ;-)

Very nice restaurant with delicious food and plenty of beers to accompany your meal. Beautiful decoration. The service and the prices of food could have been better though...

Visited October 2012.
I had been told that this was a very touristy spot and it wouldn’t be all that good. Well, it was busy and touristy but it was a cool place, minus the even worse than average Belgian service. And that service really was garbage. I got off on the wrong food with the hostess because the rest of the group hadn’t made up their mind yet about where we wanted to sit. But even after that the service was absolutely atrocious. We had three different servers and not one of them could wait more than 3 seconds for anyone to make up their mind on what beer they wanted. They were even rude when they delivered the drinks. Even after serving us 18 euro meals and us each buying beers they treated us like starving students. After waiting a long time for the bill I counted up the total and just left the exact change on the table. The one server tried to take the money without ever showing us the bill. I grabbed her hand, called her a bitch, and told her to bring the bill first. 30 seconds later the bill showed up. Screw this place.
All that said the food and beer selection are good despite being over priced and the restaurant being overcrowded.

Busy pub with a huge bar and a big but rather standard selection of belgian beers. Service was ultra slow considering it was early afternoon. Prices and food are ok.

The place was completely full ( reservations ) yet they cleared a table for me ( their very last )
I asked a sampler from draft , got it for free !
The place was very crowded , yet they were chatting with me all the time . Felt like i was a VIP
Food wad delicious . Had stue , never had a better one than there !
Staff was very helpfull , smiling all the time ( without faking , so it seemed ) and very helpfull to any question i had . If they didnt know , thet ask someone in stead of telling you lies
They have 400 beer ( didnt count but that seema rather high ) yet nothing realy rare ( not much ticks ) yet they have goodies ! ( black albert , duchesse de bourgogne ,... )
So , in short lines :
- Best food ever
- Best service imaginable
- Very decent selection
- Very nice prices
Need to say more ? They sell freaking fou foune for less than 12 euro’s . When thet have it , at least . Cause at that price , they fly !

Best bar experience in Brugge. Sat alone by a few older gents who asked where I was from after hearing my accent. One of the guys reccomending taking a walk down the road to a bridge called the Manitoba bridge where Canadian troops freed Bruges in WW2. The food was spectacular...had Flemish carbonades made with Gulden Draak and Abbaye de Rocs beer. Outstanding place
