Visited Cambrinus today for dinner, food was outstanding and the beer selection is over the top. I had a Westy Blonde, a Cantillon Gueuze and a 3 Fonteinen. Over 400 bottles. Food was delicious, I had Flemish Beef stew, my wife had the rabbit. Service was a little slow but they were completely full the night we went. Make reservations.
Oldschool beer cuisine stop that has a massive book of a bottle list. List is nicely separated by style, food is pretty damn good. Ran into Dick Cantwell, the founder of Elysian here, so thats cool. Service was a bit slow, but it was surprisingly busy for a Thursday lunch.
This is quite a large and touristy pub in central Bruges. Packed with diners on this visit and not easy to get a table for just drinking, so we relented and ate as well. Busy, hectic, we felt a little rushed to select our choices from the large list. Not my favourite place in Bruges despite the choice but a must visit nevertheless.
Visited after BBF. Established beer restaurant with a list strong in Belgian classics and two house beers made to original recipes. Friendly and helpful staff and quick service in spite of the fact that the place was very crowded. Grand café kind of atmosphere but nice and agreeable. Glad I visited it, but I’m not sure I’d go back here soon.
Visited 3 times in our trip to Brugge. The beer menu is large, not easy to follow, the selection is wide, but no rare beers in particular. Certainly something to keep most interested. It’s a busy place and the staff were over worked. Food was good, but expensive. Worth a visit if you want food and a good beer list
