Quite a long beer list but I didnít find many interesting beers there. Service was hard-to-get and when I finally had a waitress coming to me she wasnít so friendly. It was quite packed when I was there and I didnít really enjoy the overall feel of the place

Visited on a Friday early evening. Place was packed, couldnít get a table but found some space at the bar. The beer menu is literally a leather-bound tome. It is overwhelming, so I started with the "house" bruin and then just ordered Belgian beers I was familiar with but hadnít had in a long while without even looking at the menu, they had everything. Truly huge selection. Great Beer bar. Wish I could have tried the food.

Along the street jutting west from the north-eastern side of the main square where the Historium is located. This is a restaurant with a very French feel to it, hence the Brasserie in the title with a platform area full of seating on its right-hand side, and a long bar along its left. Thereís plenty of bar stools here so if you are not eating then itís more than convivial for a drink and thereís a huge choice of bottled beer, all visible in seven eye level fridges behind the servers. Thereís 10 taps here too if you prefer something poured. Itís an attractive enough place to enjoy a drink or too and there were plenty of people simply doing that as oppose to eating with a mainly wooden decor alongside plenty of bric-a-brac additions, some pseudo stain-glass windows and historic items in glass cases against the back wall.

This really nice place near to the central place of Bruges is a must to see. This place is really nice and clean, the service is at the best and the food is excellent, what else... the beer. About it the beer selection is really amazing for the Belgium beer with nice beer from small breweries with a really good price. I just want to recommend you beer cocktails made in this place, they are awesome! Great idea to mix beer with others alcohol or non-alcohol! I recommend you to come early or to reserve a table. The place is always crowd.

Had dinner and a couple of beers here on a friday evening. The place was packed with a lot of tourists, quite a noisy atmosphere which is not my favourite kind. Beer selection seemed quite good for a restaurant. Always hunting for rare beers, I was bent on trying their house ales, a heavy Blond and a Belgian dark ale. Unfortunately, I found them mediocre at best. The food was much better though, we all enjoyed our meals which were well-prepared. When Iím in the city again I will give this place another try at a more quiet hour.

Lovely interior, great food and a generous beer menu. Due to this being high in trip advisor for food etc this place is always busy and you really need to make a booking to ensure you get a spot. We liked it so much we had lunch and dinner there. Nice selection of beer, extension list on the menu including Westy 12 (didnít ask if it was available)

Very nice interior, cosy place. Good beer list but they seem to have problems with availability. Friendly staff but not very professional. They forgot what we ordered and we had to ask different people to get the bill. The food was ok but small portions. One of us was also served more than 10 minutes later than the other ones. There are better beer restaurants than this.

Large restaurant with dark wooden interior. Ate here twice on my swing through Bruges, as there are very few places in town where you can eat and drink at the same time. Close to the market square, this place catches plenty of tourists. Big beer menu with short descriptions of most of the bottled beers, which is helpful because the staff is not very knowledgable. They have two house beers and at least one or two other interesting offerings on tap. The bottles I tried seemed fresher tasting than you sometimes get when ordering a lesser known beer. Food is rustic and portions are large. The "snack plate" makes a nice lunch. Nothing super rare on the list, but a great place to have dinner with several nice beers.

Good selection of bottles. Several rare ones that I picked were out of stock though. Food offering simple but reasonable priced Liked this bar

Yea, solid selection. But no clue why this is rated so highly. Had Fou Fone and other Cantillon on the menu (only Ä11.75 for Fou) but only Kriek and Rose actually in stock. Westy Blond and 8 also on menu and out of stock. Poor service overall. Food was below Chiliís level. Very disappointed. While for an American, drinking 2 Cantillons and a Westy 12 with lunch is awesome, these are all over the local shop shelves and there were no other things nice about this place. Stop in I guess, but better places to eat with a fine beer selection everywhere. Seriously this place is a major tourist trap ambiance.
