Very conveniently located. Nice decor - lots of dark wood, dimly lit, but still spacious and welcoming. The selection of beer is outstanding, maybe the best I came across in Bruges. The food was tasty and satisfying, but not worth the 20 euros I payed for it. Overall the prices for food are quite high, the beer prices are slightly more reasonable, but not cheap. The service was painfully slow, and at times actually just ignored me, but they did seem to know their stuff, so Iíll give them some points for that. Service aside, highly recommended.

A nice bar with decent selection of Belgian beer and good food, but it always seems to be near impossible to get a table here without a reservation and thereís nowhere to stand. Worth spending some time in if its possible, but generally itís just too much of a tourist trap and too busy. A victim of its own popularity..

Bezocht op zaterdagavond tijdens brug bierfestival. Erg druk maar om half tien was er een plekje vrij. Houten interieur met krappe tafeltjes. Eten is erg goed verzorgd en lekker Op smsmaak, rredelijk grote porties. Service is goed. En de biercollectie is overweldigend. Verder valt de koffie wat tegen en is het jammer dat water alleen in fles besteld kan worden, prijzen voor het eten zijn hoog, al is dat in de rest van Brugge ook zo. Zeker een aanrader al met al.

Visited on a Friday early evening. Place was packed, couldnít get a table but found some space at the bar. The beer menu is literally a leather-bound tome. It is overwhelming, so I started with the "house" bruin and then just ordered Belgian beers I was familiar with but hadnít had in a long while without even looking at the menu, they had everything. Truly huge selection. Great Beer bar. Wish I could have tried the food.

Along the street jutting west from the north-eastern side of the main square where the Historium is located. This is a restaurant with a very French feel to it, hence the Brasserie in the title with a platform area full of seating on its right-hand side, and a long bar along its left. Thereís plenty of bar stools here so if you are not eating then itís more than convivial for a drink and thereís a huge choice of bottled beer, all visible in seven eye level fridges behind the servers. Thereís 10 taps here too if you prefer something poured. Itís an attractive enough place to enjoy a drink or too and there were plenty of people simply doing that as oppose to eating with a mainly wooden decor alongside plenty of bric-a-brac additions, some pseudo stain-glass windows and historic items in glass cases against the back wall.

This really nice place near to the central place of Bruges is a must to see. This place is really nice and clean, the service is at the best and the food is excellent, what else... the beer. About it the beer selection is really amazing for the Belgium beer with nice beer from small breweries with a really good price. I just want to recommend you beer cocktails made in this place, they are awesome! Great idea to mix beer with others alcohol or non-alcohol! I recommend you to come early or to reserve a table. The place is always crowd.

Had dinner and a couple of beers here on a friday evening. The place was packed with a lot of tourists, quite a noisy atmosphere which is not my favourite kind. Beer selection seemed quite good for a restaurant. Always hunting for rare beers, I was bent on trying their house ales, a heavy Blond and a Belgian dark ale. Unfortunately, I found them mediocre at best. The food was much better though, we all enjoyed our meals which were well-prepared. When Iím in the city again I will give this place another try at a more quiet hour.

Lovely interior, great food and a generous beer menu. Due to this being high in trip advisor for food etc this place is always busy and you really need to make a booking to ensure you get a spot. We liked it so much we had lunch and dinner there. Nice selection of beer, extension list on the menu including Westy 12 (didnít ask if it was available)
