Made the trip from Bratislava on a Friday morning. Since the store was empty when we got there, the owner was more than happy to talk to us - and help carry our purchases to the car. The selection of English and Belgian beers was pretty good, and there was a small selection of glassware. It was a chilly morning and I wonder what effect the heat from the radiator has on the shelves of beer less than a meter away.
There’s a nice selection of brewing supplies in the back room as well.

Visited 02/04/14 - A sunny Spring day, warm and pleasant. In a small suburb of Vienna - More of a town of its own really. Nice and clean street, nice and clean shop. The shopkeep was quiet. An alright selection, though just the biggest from other countries, except going a bit deeper into English beers. Nice prices for the Austrian stuff, except the big champagne bottles are really expensive. Quite many Austrians, but as said, some are really expensive while others not very interesting. But definitely worth a visit, especially if you got money to spare. Grab U2 to Donauspital and then 26 to its terminus then leg it through the park to the center street. The walk is about five minutes.

Decent selection of your common English and Belgian stuff which fills most of the shop but if you are looking for some of the more microbrews if Austria you will find some here but not a huge amount. What is cool is that you can have a drink there too.

The place is off the beaten path as others have mentioned. Expect a good 45 minutes journey on the subway/bus from downtown Vienna. The shop itself is modern and clean. Shelves everywhere. The selection is great. Lots of Belgian beers, including the famous Westvleteren beers. Some interesting local Austrian beers, British, German, US, and a few from here and there. The owner was extremely helpful. He apologized for not having updated the shop’s website in a while, but recommended similar beers I had never heard of. Had a beer from the fridge and he gave me free snacks. One of the best bottle shops in Central Europe if you ask me.
Update July 6th 2014:
Sadly Biererei has closed :(

Great selection of mostly Belgian, Austrian, British and American beer, glassware and boxsets. They also have a few beers from Germany, Scandinavia and others. Especially the selection from Belgium is propably the best in Vienna, almost all trappist beers, even the Westvleteren 12 and 8 (but they were to expensive for my liking). A bit pricey though and also very far off, but definitely worth a visit!

A bottle shop combined with a home brew retail. They do not have too many special malts and hops, just the standard. Beer selection is ok, quite good UK beer assortment (Old Peculiar!). Located pretty far away from Vienna’s centre.

One of just a handful of bottle shops in Vienna. There’s some good stuff to be found in here. Service was fine on my visit. Prices are decent on some beers, less decent on others. Worth a stop.

Expensive, very expensive! The only part of a large selection of Belgian beers are very expensive! 4-5 kinds of German beer, expensive! 10-15 ales, very expensive! One or two glasses of beer. Warning! 12-15 hour lunch break! (Poor, hungry ...) Forget it!

It is a long trip getting to this store if you are traveling from the inner districts, and without a car, but they do have the best selection of bottled beer in Vienna. Prices are reasonable, although somewhat high on certain beers. Nice selection of glassware. Overall...a good beer store.

Having the best bottle selection in Vienna makes it worth taking the seemingly endless journey from the city’s center to the outskirts. The prices range from moderately high to pretty high on some beers. The owner is helpful, contact via e-mail is quick and unproblematic. Glad to see a little more american beers around recently.
