Yesterday I finally made it to the rising star of the Belgian beer scene: Deconinck. Close to Kortrijk, in a small village called Vichte, you’ll find everything you were told. Very large shop with everything (not only their beers, also the gin, sodas...) very well organised and beautifully presented. The selection of Belgians was really good (Struise, Alvinne, DOM, de la Senne, smaller unknown breweries...) and even their lambic department is more then OK, they have almost all the authentic lambic brewers/gueuze blenders. It is however the selection of foreign beers that really blows your mind! Mikkeller, BrewDog, De Molen, Jopen... even some Almanac, The Bruery, Lost Abbey... really incredible. A job well done. The prices were more then OK, along the line with Geers, but I think just a tad more expensive then DeCaigny (selection is more impressive here though). Service then was very very friendly. You really can feel the passion these two people have for their job AND for the beer. They are doing a great job and I hope they continue to work with the same energy and enthousiasm for many more years to come. Overall this is a really impressive beer shop. Get your asses overthere and buy some awesome beers!!

Pretty impressive place. Huge selection and drinks warehouse prices rather than city centre beer shop prices. Lots of interesting Belgian stuff and some great imports with all the good stuff being set off to the side. They clearly know what they are doing. Can’t really say it has a great ambiance, but given it an extra mark as they were giving out samples of Anker beers on tap.

THE walhalla of craftbeer! I loved going to Geers, as it is not too far from Brussels. But then I met Bierhalle Deconinck and my life changed :-p Lovely selection of regional beers, microbreweries, geueze breweries, and a huge selection of imported beers. Very friendly family business, very kind people. Had to keep calm and not leave with an empty bank account.

Friendly staff (x1000). Very good selection. Prices are average. Always feeling like a little child in a candystore in this Bierhalle. Best beerstore price/quality/selection/service in Belgium, by far. Keep up the good work. We owe you a big thank you for supporting Alvinne beerfestival. One suggestion for improvement: supporting IPA’s = fridges

Verry friendly people who know what they are doing. Nices prices. The only nasty thing is you always have to make a lot of choices and leave a lot behind... :-)

The only bad thing about this place is that it is too far away from me with public transport for me. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about this place just like everyone else. Service was super friendly & they gave us free samples from 3 different beers, commercial beers yes but free beers! 3 of them! with lots of friendliness. The place is insanely big, it is like walking through a huge warehouse just to walk through the regular selection, it almost seems to never end & then you get to a big selection of all special Belgian beers. There you get almost everything you want & at excellent prizes. You turn around and you get all the foreign stuff. Selection is incredible for Belgium. Netherlands, Spanish, American, English breweries,… There is something interesting from each and every of those countries. Mikkeller, To Řl, Fullers, BrewDog, Hopping Frog,…. Prices are wonderful. This is the best that there is in Belgium, easily. I got here lots of really wonderful & beautiful beers. All the hoppy stuff that I got tasted delicious & good. I often skip hoppy beers. I am happy about being capable to trust them with hoppy beers.

This is a very big store! It’s huge, maybe the largest I’ve been to in Europe. They have a very vast selection of international beers and many top quality Belgian beers. there are in-store tastings and at least one member of the staff really knows her beer. The prices seemed pretty good and I left a happy customer.

Selection, selection, selection! Holy cow! Also friendly people, good service. Maybe a bit pricey sometimes, but that depends on which brewery I think. The only downside for people using public transport is the location. ;-)
