50 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 10/20 Cunningham (247) Halden, Norway | October 6, 2012 Tourist trap. But ok beer and sweet ladies serving. | 56 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 Bart (106) Brussels, Belgium | August 21, 2012 Decent place not that far from the old town in Warszawa. Friendly waitors, nice terrass. Food is medium but ok, beers (only three of them available when I visited) are medium but ok as well. Not bad, but nothing special. | 60 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 12/20 Oakes (612) Savusavu, Fiji Islands | August 5, 2012 Touristy brewpub on the main tourist drag. The beer at Bierhalle are quite a bit better than the ones at Browarmia, so that is a good enough reason to come here. The sidewalk patio is a decent place to sit in the summer. | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 Quack-Duck (166) Down South, Germany | June 23, 2011 This rating is for the Arkadia location in Warsaw. We were sitting outside watching the fountains outside Arkadia shopping centre. Friendly and attentive service, good food (had Pyzy, sour gherkin salad and gherkin soup). 3-4 beers available, all very solid, good quality. Especially liked their Pils and Ciemne. | 58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 14/20 Bryne (214) Bryne, Norway | August 11, 2010 My first beer this hot summer day, but it was an average experience. The Weizen was rather thin and tastless, but ok in the heat. The Dunkel was a bit to sweet, but the Pils was better. Friendly service.
(Visited August 2nd 2010) | 56 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 4/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 12/20 Mooncattie (56) Markham, Ontario | August 3, 2010 Part of a chain, there are 2 locations in Warsaw and three others in Poland. The Nowy Swiat location is fairly close to the city center along the former Royal Route, an avenue now well-served by coffee shops and restaurants. Smaller than its Arkadia Mall counterpart, the Bierhalle features a modest sidewalk beer patio as well as a somewhat tight-for-space indoor restaurant. I found the service to be better than the Arkadia location, but the food to be less than stellar. My Altbier was a brown unfiltered somewhat unpleasant concoction that left me feeling bloated - to be fair, the fatty ribs didn’t help! I would rate both Bierhalles in Warsaw as "Fair" or "Average" as opposed to "Good". The glass of cold Zywiec I enjoyed at the Lazienkowski Park beats them both for my favourite beer in Poland. | 62 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 Ungstrup (345) Citizen of the universe, Denmark | May 27, 2010 A huge busy place with both outdoor (in street and in the back) and indoor seating. I tries it best to seem Bavarian, but doesn’t really hit the nail - white/blue Bavarian tablecloths and waitors/waitresses in custumes. The indoor area has a low cealing and the deco is kept in brown wood (floor, tables, chairs, and wall panelling) or red painted stonewall. Only 4 beers available (3 draft and 1 bottled to take away), though the card promises 6 beers. Two of the beers available are not on the card - so some confusing can arise. The service is swift and the English is OK. I had solid Polish food - lard for entree and a potato pancake with gullash filling for main - couldn’t finish either. I’ll go back to check the beer menu next time in Warsaw. | 60 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 11/20 fiulijn (281) Malmö, Denmark | December 31, 2009 A Bavarian brewery in Poland? Well, it has a nice ambiance, but the Arkadia location is nicer, in the summer; the beers are rather standardized, but better than Krolewska. | 48 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 10/20 Pivosh84 (2) Warsaw, Poland | September 26, 2009 the food+beef- to expensive | 60 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 FatPhil (251) Tallinn, Estonia | July 15, 2009 Summer 2009 - Pils, Weizen and Alt available. High quality brews. Nice solid wooden bierhalle atmosphere. Pucker food. Decent prices. Nothing to go OMFG over, but certainly a trip to Warsaw without a session here is a failed trip to Warsaw. |
