Ordered some beers through the internet, never visited the store. Shared an order with someone  else, so we could share the shipping costs. A shipment price of 31 Euro’s in Europe for a max of 20 kg, seems pretty fair. Nice, maybe a bit small (guess I am spoiled), selection of interesting brews worldwide. Got some IPA’s from Germany and Japan, some Impy’s from America and Germany and some others. Never saw/found any of these in a Dutch beer shop/bar. Good informational website and easy to use. Unfortunately a bottle wasn’t available and we didn’t get an email to choose an alternative,  so we could fill the box up until the 20 kg max was reached. But if that’s all, than this is a minor thing. The beers were carefully and very well packed! There was not a chance of getting a broken bottle in the mail! All by all a good place to order some difficult to obtain and/or rare beers.

2010: These guys are the epitome of German efficiency, combined with the going-out-of-their way-to-help helpfulness of the Belgians or Irish. So quick, so easy, and such a good range of beers. Beers were well packed, and were swiftly dispatched. Will definitely order from there again.
2011: Did order from there again, two nice full boxes of new exciting beers from all over the world just in time for xmas, and the service was just as fantastic! Bumping up the score. Will definitely order from there again...

Great online shop with a very fast email response and shipping to a low price. Sebastian is very helpful and informative if you have any questions and the packages are always packed extremely well. He has a nice selection that get update with new beers frequently.

Definitely the best german online shop! I’ve never been in the store, I always order online! Sebastian is one of the most helpful guys, I’ve ever met, and also a great, fantastic beer geek with a wide knowledge of beers! He always get new, fantastic stuff, so it’s a duty, to take a look at his website, regulary! Very fast shipping and fast email response (normally at about 2-3 hours after ordering)!!! So, I went to Bierkompass HQ in Stolberg today. I was surprised to see it was a small storage area full of beer. I was expecting a storefront, but to my amusement after I saw the selection and the fact that he may have only had 200 plus different beers, they almost all were beers I would buy, have tried and liked or were looking for. What he was stocking was nothing short of Grade A brews. A full selection of big names in brewing from Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Etc. He has a great selection. Harry was more than friendly, helpful and accomodating. I also helped him unstack his fresh palate of goods and came across 3 "new" beers I wanted and didnt see earlier, what a deal. Had just gotten in new Mikkeller stuff and I snatched a few up. This is a convienient way to purchase great beer online or pop on down and say hi and see whats hes got. It was pretty cold today, and he brought me and the wife in for coffee while we added up the damage, and I do mean damage. Not because the price is high, the prices are right on. But i went a little crazy and bought a backseat full of beer. All in all, I enjoyed the day. I felt like a kid in a candy store, and just ask if you want something in particular, because he might have it. I walked away with more than 5 great beers I didnt see advertised that he had just got in today. Best beer selection in Northwest Germany hands down.

Fantastic online shop with an incredible selection of foreign beers. I’ve never come across any of these anywhere else. Superb service, quick email responses and perfect packaging of the ordered beers. What a great shop - will definitely order again. Highly recommended!

New info. purchased a box just after new year, and they manage to hook me up with 3 Fou Foune and other good stuff. Somehow 2 bottles broke (luckly not the Cantillon stuf) - BK took the full sesponsibility and I will full compensated when ordering next box;). - great service. Quality selection, had some trouble not to skilled in the German language but Harry helped me out both with payment and postage issues. Bottles were quality wrapped and packed, boxes arrived in only 2 days (from Germany to Sweden) - DHL! 20 bottles mix of 3Fonteinen, De Molen, Cantillion, Mikkeller, Stuise, Alvinne and one Freigeist

Sebastian is by far the most helpful person I have dealt with in a beer store. Very friendly and goes out of his way to help you. I haven’t been to his store yet, he tells me I’m not missing much, but the online service is well above par. The selection is great considering it is a store in Germany, stores that usually only carry German beers, with a few InBev thrown in. The prices are about what you would expect to pay at other stores, but less than most beer stores in the big cities in Belgium, who seem to like ripping people off if they can get away with it. Nice to see such an honest, hard-working person like Sebastian helping other beergeeks get the beer they want.

Ambiance is a 5, because I helped Sebastian carry some of his beers to his car in Bodegraven after the festival. Service is impeccable. Got my package soon en even send it to the German post office to save me a lot of euro’s. Great selection. Not too expensive, considering the quality. Very much recommended.
