This is probably one of the best bottle shops in Germany, big selection of good germans, also the small up and coming breweries, but also the traditionals as Keller, Hefe und so weiter. Some good beers from all over the world as well. Very good and informative shop keeper, could spend a lot more time here next time in Hamburg.

Small store with lots of German goodies including some from the relatively new German Micro scene. They have some foreign beers as well, but most are fairly common. Excellent service. If you’re looking for a bottle shop in Hamburg, go here.

Visited on a Friday afternoon September 30, 2011.
This is without doubt the best German beer store that I have visited. They had about 250 different beers, most of them German.
The store itself had a nice atmosphere; but the best thing was the extremely friendly female owner. She was talkative and told me gladly about the different beers. I could have spent many hours inside the store.
I bought 12 different beers, the total cost was 60 EUR, the beers were unique so the prices were more than ok in my opinion. It’s not every day you buy German IPA, Imperial Stout, etc.
The store was easy to find, it took about 15 minutes to reach it with S-Bahn from the Main Station and with a short walk. It’s the same S-Bahn line that you can take to the Airport in Hamburg.
I would love to vist this place again.

A few U-bahn stops from the central station and you will be there. Small shop but it has a lot of German beers in bottles and the lady behind the counter, who is not German (Dutch maybe?) is more than willing to tell you about the beers and assist you. A good experience as she knows what she is talking about. Some beers from other countries but not many. Fair price level.

Not sure why this is the top-rated place in Hamburg. A small store with a few local German rarities and an otherwise uninspired selection of highly-priced international bottled beers. Rather surprising considering the enthusiasm of the proprietress ...

Located in a relatively quiiet lane in a residential area of the city, this rather small shop offers a decent selection of German, Belgian and American beers, though it is definitely not the biggest bottle store in Germany. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and remarkably well-disposed towards serious Ratebeerians: on learning I was from Denmark, they immediately extended their kind greetings to yespr and Ungstrup :-) I bought a few botles of decent German beer, not cheap but much cheaper than they would be in Denmark, and left, straight into a very cold and windy street. thinking of when I would open the bottles. I will definitely come back again.

Nice bottle shop about 5 km outside central Hamburg. Be AWARE that it is CASH ONLY! Otherwise they have a very good selection of German beers and also some foreign beers. When they saw that I was from ratebeer, the wife came and showed me all the new stuff and made some very good recommandations, so service was excellent. Beers are all cheap as everywhere else in Germany. I will definately come again.

Good shop with a stable selection of german beers (including a couple of modern brews). Also some randomly choosed beers from around the world. Good and knowing staff. Not in the city center but very close to a u-bahn station.

Small and stripped down bottle shop with lots of traditional German beer like steinbier, doppelbocks, zwickel, keller bier, and so on, but also some American and Belgian stuff. The lady who works there has a huge interest in beer and is one of the nicest clerks I’ve ever experienced. Extremely helpful and kind. Probably the best place to buy beer in Hamburg!

Fascinating place, I was hoping for a few more foreign beers but they are mostly German. It’s a great range though, with several German microbrews I’d never heard of. The owner’s friendly, and once she gets an idea what you like, she’ll suggest others too. Most bottles are pretty reasonably priced. NB: Beware that it is not open on Mondays! My first trip there was wasted...
