Some tables outside that were already full due to the warm weather, little space inside but big round tables that can hold a party of 4-5 people. Not much on the food section from what I sa on the menu, but interesting beer list, not so the bottles actually, but more the tap list which changes constantly, having guest beers all the time. Relaxed atmosphere with a lack of music, at least when I was there, good service.

Visited may 2011. Nice place, a lot of people and great beers, but waiter was a little too busy and he showed it. Nothing to complain and I recommend this place.

Dingy old style bar. Like stepping back in time. Excellent service and a great selection of beer from all over. Not much in the way of whales. So don't come in expecting any. Didn't have the food. But the beers I did have were pretty good.

Very nice pub, especially the occasions when they serve unknown beers from a selected country.

Kind of a dive, but I like it. They obviously have a nice relationship with a lot of American brewers. Flying Dog Brewery made a beer for them and it is sold in the States. I had the beer long before knowing this bar existed. The bar doesn’t have stools, rather it is waist level. There are lots of round tables scattered around. It’s easy to forget what time it is. Absolutely worth a visit.

Very good overall selection of beer. Great finger food. Cozy place. Service was limited on a Saturday afternoon as staff were stretched.

Visited a couple of times, and for sure another great pub, worth visiting if you are in Amsterdam. Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and beers in good condition and well served. A place to go to relax, enjoy, meet up with friends and have some lovely beers.

One of my favourite places. A seriously old-fashioned pub with stained-glass windows, dark wooden interior, and some benches outside in the street. The beer selection is a carefully chosen mix of Belgian, British, German, and American. The service was great, and the bar staff deeply knowledgeable about what they were serving. A quiet, relaxed place in the afternoon. No music.

OMG their meat is the finest stuff going. Man I was impressed.
