Had an enjoyable experience here. Iíve been here several times and the service is always hit or miss. They always have on a few standards and some rock solid seasonals, which is the draw for me. Everyday beers are basic, but brewed true to style. First of all you have to really want to try the beers here, because you will get your exercise doing it, specfically up 3 1/2 flights of stairs. The views of downtown and the river are spectacular especially in the fading light heading into night when the town lights up. Itís worth it!

heard lots of great stuff about this place from lots of people. Went in, wasnít too big on the aesthetic of the place, kind of bare. But service was great, had a couple of their own brews that were really tasty, and the happy hour was awesome. Four of us ate and drank and our bill was $30 dollars!!!!

Nice pub up on the hill with a view of the river. The food was very good, I had a small pizza that was excellent. They had 6 beers on tap or so, all good to very good quality, only one beer was a bit disapointing. Highly recommended place.

Ok, first things first.....get ready for some stairs! Behind the street level windows you will find the brewery. Go up the first set of stairs to find a couple of nice pool tables and the bathrooms. Go up another, inside set of stairs to find the bar/restaurant. The bar is fairly small as is the dining area, both with views of the river. Several outside patios/decks for fair weather seating. Food is somewhat overpriced, but for the area, itís probably no TOO bad. Service was good, as was the food. Beers were a bit above average, with the stout being particlularly good.

Quiet house turned brewpub is easy to find from the interstate. Parking is crowded, even during a slow part of the day. We did get a great table by the window with an amazing view of town. Food was good, but pricey. Service was better than average. Only had one beer, but it was quite good. They do offer a sampler at a reasonable price.

Big house overlooking Hood River with views of the Gorge on one side and a bit of a biergarten on the other. I arrived at a beer launch party so it was quite festive, despite a fairly cookie-cutter interior. Had a quesadilla, nothing special but thatís something I make really well myself so I wouldnít expect more. The beer range wasnít too bad for a brewery Iíd never heard of and the new beer (Little Red Rooster) was really good. I know Full Sail is the big name brand, but Iíd find time for both these places (and Elliot Glacier as well) if in Hood River.

Great atmosphere overlooking the city of Hood River at night when it is all lit up. Nice sized sampler, did not try the food, but the menu was good looking and somewhat pricey with alot of steaks and seafood. Service however was horrible. My father and I sat there waiting to be served forever before someone payed attention to us, and even at that point they could not tell us about the beers without looking up at the board they were all posted on to tell us what styles they had on.

May 2004: This place has a lot of potential, but I was way underimpressed with their beers, and the restuarant itself was kinda underkempt and uncomfortable inside. Overpriced after the mountain climb up the steps, too.

Nice building with a fantastic view of the Columbia river. Watch the barges, windsurfers and kiters do their things. Beer is all theirs with a decent range of styles. Runs on the expensive side for food and drink. Service has always been fine, beers are passable.

Nice building with a great view, good selection of decent beers. Food selection was good as was the quality. I was there in winter on a weekday afternoon. Lots of stairs, hard to climb, hard to get back down after several beers. The dark wheat was very good
