small interior compared to other Binny’s, but extensive selection of midwest bottles, though nearly everything but a few bombers and six-packs are shelved warm. no Three Floyds in stock July 2012.

I was not that impressed with Binny’s. The selection was un-impressive although there were a fair amount of Belgians. The local selection definitely needs work. Several workers passed me by and never spoke.

Holy monkey beer selection here was insane! Tons of Pipeworks, Revolution, Three Floyds, Goose Island. Hard to find stuff all over. Lots of refrigerated things. Easy to peruse the selection. Left here with a least a dozen bottles. Do not come here unless you’re ready to unload some cash.

This is the only Binny’s location I have visited. It is a functional bottle shop, though the selection was more limited than I had expected. I was looking for stuff I can’t get in KS/MO and this place only had a few. Picked up some 3F Behemoth, Alpha King and Rabid Rabbit. Also the Alt Bier from Two Brothers. Since I was staying downtown without transport, the fact I could walk to this was really the highlight of the place.
76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Visited here at Christmas of 2009 - great store with a terrific selection of beers. Staff were helpful.

Went to this store after a business presentation. Easy parking next to building. smaller building with well organized shelfs with wine, liquor on the right and three large shelfs of beers on the back lef. Good selection of standard micros in bombers and six packs and good selection of Illinois beers. Found six new beers for me. Party goods, wine and hard liquor store at good prices like the other Binny’s. Chicago BA freindly package store service. Nice location. I will return if downtown.

The beer guy here does a good of communicating through email when new stuff is in. However, the store and selection are small and gone right away. Overall, selection isn’t that great, never see anything that I want besides when special releases come in.

Decent selection and in walking distance from the downtown core. As stated before, verry cramped beer section, but staff was friendly, if not knowledgeable.

I’ve been to the Lincoln Park location, which is awesome - this sucks in comparison, but is still a good stop for beer if you’re in downtown a most cities have shit for bottle shops in their downtown areas, so this was nice to see - the vibe is like a dirty old grocery store (reminds me of the old A&P stores right before they all closed down for good) dropped into a basement - not a lot of cold beer, which kind of sucks if you’re there to take stuff back to your hotel - two aisles of beer, with a lot of local/regional stuff - cashiers had shitty attitudes - decent prices - selection, though, is not nearly as vast as the Lincoln Park location - if you can go to that one, do so.

Nice selection here. Typical liquor store warehouse vibe. Big and full of quantity. I wasn’t too impressed by the beers they had up for mixed 6 packs, but some of the 22s and 750s were very interesting. Even found one Three Floyds beer I haven’t had, which is a definite plus. I’ll be back, and next time it’ll be to transport stuff home.
