What a store! Was looking for the famous Goose Island Boubon County. Again was told to be a week early, but at the end they produced some bottles still. Many thanks. Did not make the journey from The Netherlands in vain after all. Great service.

Visited while on my trip to chicago. Filled my cart with goodies I can’t get in MI and it cost me just over $100! It was nice not having to pay deposit. The staff was extremely helpful, and I walked around for about 45 minutes. They even hooked me up with a six pack of Zombie Dust! Great spot to stop on your way out of the city with a parking lot!

Conveniently located about two blocks from our hotel during our last stop on our brewery tour. Not quite sure why this place is ranked so low. Huge liquor and wine selection but the beer selection is impressive as well. Tons of great breweries including Port, Ska, Stone, Mikkeller, New Belgium, Lost Abbey, Hoppin’ Frog, Goose Island and Dogfish Head to name a few. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Richie I think his name was even took our names down to call us to let us know when the Vanilla Bourbon County arrived and then told us about a limited Three Floyd’s/Dogfish Head release when we came in to pick them up.

My go-to place while living in Chicago. As an Ontarian, I was blown away by the beer selection at this store. For the U.S., it’s probably ’typical,’ but I personally felt like Homer Simpson in the Land of Chocolate. Canadian offerings included Unibroue 15, 16, 17, La Seigneuriale, Quatre-Centième, Quelque Chose, and La Terrible. U.S. brands were most of the Rogue, Goose Island, and Three Floyds lineups, as well as Sierra Nevada Anniversary, Peak Organic Amber, DFH Palo Santo Marron, Souther Tier UberSun, New Belgium Skinny Dip, and Anchor Small Beer. Imports ran the gambit from Sam Smith Winter Welcome to Rochefort 10/8/6 to Hitachino Red Rice, Weizen, White Ale and Lacto Sweet Stout. It took me the better part of three months to work my way through these offerings, and I can truly say that Chicago reinvigorated my passion for craft beer. Staff here are reasonably friendly. On certain occasions I required their assistance and they were pretty helpful. My only beef is that they would always check for ID, even though I was a twice-weekly customer. I know it’s part of their job, but employees at my local LCBO often spare me the embarrassment if they recognize me. Sometimes homeless vagrants were lingering outside of the store, but they were harmless. Overall, Binny’s North is a great beer store in the heart of Chicago.

Stopped by during a conference in Downtown Chicago. I actually had exceptional service as opposed to everyone here, I think I was talking to the buyer, he had all the best recommendations for local craft and let me into his secret backstock with solid 3F bombers. Awesome spot!

First time I’ve been in one of these places and the selection was crazy. Picked up a lot of 3F and a bunch of other stuff. Would have got more but flying home the next day and couldn’t carry that much. Nice selection.

For me this was the easiest store to access from downtown on foot. Nice selection of singles for a mixed pack but also buckets of other local and worldwide choices. Friendly staff that asked you if you needed help once and then left you alone. Prices were average but the mixed sixer seemed like the best deal.

Holy monkey beer selection here was insane! Tons of Pipeworks, Revolution, Three Floyds, Goose Island. Hard to find stuff all over. Lots of refrigerated things. Easy to peruse the selection. Left here with a least a dozen bottles. Do not come here unless you’re ready to unload some cash.

Wow, coming from Ontario where all we have is the government-run LCBO, I am blown away by the selection in this place. Rows and rows of great American craft brews, and a good selection of imports. I need to travel south of the border more often.

This Binny’s has a very convenient location for anyone working in the loop. The smaller setup prevents it from having the same selection as some of the more expansive locations, though. This location has recently expanded their beer selection and started offering a "create your own six pack" section, which is a nice feature. They are now able to bring in a wider selection of local craft and interesting import beers.
Limited releases disappear from here faster than pretty much anywhere else in the city, so I generally use this store to grab a couple quick hits on the way home or to a party.
