Visited this place by recommendation from a friend. 3 things: Biggest and best beer selection I’ve ever seen. The beer manager went out of his way to show me around and possessed excellent beer knowledge. He basically gave me the grand tour and talked to me until I was ready to check out. It was clear that even though this is a big corporate company, the beer manager truly cares about what he is doing and put together a masterful selection.

A very large store located just across the street from Goose Island Clybourn... They have a really solid liquor and wine selection to accompany their well laid out beer selection. They have a great variety of styles, with American Craft being the focal point, but plenty of English, Scottish, German and Belgian to choose from. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a must stop if you are in the area.

The best Liquor store in Chicago. Recently renovated (however, the wine section got most of the spoils of the renovation). Gets great deals on beer regularly and the best import selection in Chicago (however their import prices are often not particularly good). Their buyers are very knowledgeable and I’ve seen them at work. Service desk is great to work with if you need kegs and their tap rentals are really reasonable (and they work!). They also have access to pretty much every keg available in Chicago.

This is one of the best beer stores I have ever walked into. The selection is pretty massive. The lighting is pretty good. There is a guy who works there who will tell you exactly how old any given beer is. Everything is very clean. The prices are good (some things are more expensive than my favorite beerstore NBD is NYC). The selection of German and Eastern European beers is excellent (although I have seen a little better in regards to Eastern Europe). The Belgian selection is nothing short of massive. De Molen, Evil Twin, Mikkeller oh my! I didn’t want to stay there too long, because I would have purchased far too much stuff. I spent about 50 bucks there already.

Today was my second time here and it was as I remember. Huge store with tons of great brews. No service to speak of, so my 5 out of 10 may be generous. Saw a few employees, looked a couple right in the eye and they just walked right on by. Haven’t had that issue at the other Binny’s I have visited. Nice location as it is behind GI Clybourn so grab a bite and brew there before walking over. Prices are very good and selection is fantastic, so stop in but expect self-service. Have visited a couple times since rating and bumped service to a 7 since it was much better. Love the GI and Binny combo when I am in town visiting!

The old "Sam’s Wine" location really has come into it’s own as a Binny’s. Great selection, always some sought after stuff on the shelves. Beer staff is helpful, friendly, and always seems to have a goal of getting the beer you want in your hands if they can. Large selection and cooler section and a great location for my Pipeworks FwB pickup. Some fun events and tastings, I’d recommend this among one of my favorite Binny’s locations.

Went here yesterday for the 1rst time. It’s a very nice clean store with a helpful staff and a great selection. Nothing crazy special aside from Pipeworks. Worth stopping by if you in the area, say eating lunch across the street at Goose Island.

This is the best beer store I have ever seen. So many beers, it’s hard to name them all. Clearly the best selection of American and foreign beers I’ve seen before (the best I have seen in a store is Julio’s in MA and this store blows them out of the water). Clearly they get every possible beer they can. And unlike other stores it looks like they actually move the beers (or they’re experts at cleaning), because I didn’t see a speck of dust on any bottles. Decent prices as well. Yeah. I wanted to buy at least $200 worth of beer from this store because of all the crazy things I saw. Wow. Just wow is all I can say to sum up.

Huge store, amazing selection. They also have a huge wine selection and some gourmet type food, as I recall. Resulantly, the sheer size of the place kind of gives it an impersonal, grocery store type of feel. Regardless, I’ll be back. Somewhat surprisingly, given the huge inventory, I didn’t notice any dusty bottles. Given that, and the fact that they were actually sold out of the beer I went in there specifically to find (not a rare or one-off beer, either) it appears that the stock rotates well. It wouldn’t be hard to kill an hour in here just browsing all the beer.
