I am now spoiled by these Binny liquor stores. I was able to get a bunch of Pipeworks that were not at WLVL and they had a ton of DFH. Wish they had a better 6pack builder, instead of $10 for 6 mediocre beers.

A warehouse style store with a great selection and fair prices. Staff is overall helpful. One of the better Chicago beer stores.

Good selection, bright, open, airy. You won’t find much interesting on the shelves as this location gets picked over quickly. Staff is knowledgeable when asked. Bonus points for the cheese counter who has been very patient, and willing to make good suggestions in the past.

Stopped in to pick up the first Pipeworks release and must say I was impressed. One of the better Binny’s that I have been too. Right across the street from GI-Clybourn. Huge selection including Lolita from GI. One of the better mix sixes from Binny’s as well.

Went here yesterday for the 1rst time. It’s a very nice clean store with a helpful staff and a great selection. Nothing crazy special aside from Pipeworks. Worth stopping by if you in the area, say eating lunch across the street at Goose Island.

Time to refresh my rating now that they have split out Sam’s. With the changes came a big difference overall. The beers that are being brought in are pretty much the best in the area and the beer section is very substantial and runs the pretty standard price structure. Great location and selection, not much more needs to be said. Just wish they had a tasting room here as well...

My other ratings were on Sam’s (the old place), so here it goes. This is second best to South Loop Binny’s (Taproom, Cigar selection and Size wise) but a close 2nd because of Adam (Vav) the beer manager there, he manages this beer madness like no other, with constant updates on this site, the other site and twitter, he also holds special events, such as beer releases. The selection is great and the special release bottle atollment to this place is one of the best. Located right across the street from Goose Island Clyborn, this is a must for anyone visiting GI.

I have been going to this Binny’s since it was the flagship Sam’s store, and nothing has changed. They still have a huge, spacious store filled with beer, wine, and spirits (along with a deli section), and the beer selection is quite solid. It does not hurt that they are located right next to Goose Island Clybourn. They may not get some of the smaller offerings that the specialty bottle shops get, but overall their selection is great. Their aisles are filled with nearly everything that is distributed in Chicago, in every price range. They have had some fun events there in the past. The Goose Island Bourbon County Rare release was here, and even though it was freezing outside, the store did a fairly good job of keeping everything in order. The one downside is that with the incredible volume that they get, they will sell out of popular limited releases immediately. But for the regular offerings, I am confident that they will have a full, fresh selection of solid beer.

This is one of the best beer stores I have ever walked into. The selection is pretty massive. The lighting is pretty good. There is a guy who works there who will tell you exactly how old any given beer is. Everything is very clean. The prices are good (some things are more expensive than my favorite beerstore NBD is NYC). The selection of German and Eastern European beers is excellent (although I have seen a little better in regards to Eastern Europe). The Belgian selection is nothing short of massive. De Molen, Evil Twin, Mikkeller oh my! I didn’t want to stay there too long, because I would have purchased far too much stuff. I spent about 50 bucks there already.
