Today was my second time here and it was as I remember. Huge store with tons of great brews. No service to speak of, so my 5 out of 10 may be generous. Saw a few employees, looked a couple right in the eye and they just walked right on by. Havenít had that issue at the other Binnyís I have visited. Nice location as it is behind GI Clybourn so grab a bite and brew there before walking over. Prices are very good and selection is fantastic, so stop in but expect self-service.
Have visited a couple times since rating and bumped service to a 7 since it was much better. Love the GI and Binny combo when I am in town visiting!

Shopping-market feel, so much beer and liquor everywhere. Awesome organization, fair prices (some cheaper there than locals), helpful, non-aggressive service, enough check out lines to keep it flowing smooth. Nothing over-the top in rarity, extensive but standard lambic selection.

Huge store, amazing selection. They also have a huge wine selection and some gourmet type food, as I recall. Resulantly, the sheer size of the place kind of gives it an impersonal, grocery store type of feel.
Regardless, Iíll be back. Somewhat surprisingly, given the huge inventory, I didnít notice any dusty bottles. Given that, and the fact that they were actually sold out of the beer I went in there specifically to find (not a rare or one-off beer, either) it appears that the stock rotates well.
It wouldnít be hard to kill an hour in here just browsing all the beer.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon in October 2011.
What a huge and clean place and what a selection! I saw many beers from Mikkeller and Nogne, but of course I bought mostly American beers.
I wish we had Beer Stores like this in Sweden. A must visit when in Chicago. The location was very close to Goose Island, around 10 minutes with Metro from downtown Chicago.

This is currently my favorite Binnyís store. They have absolutely everything you could want, and they actually sell a good amount of everything, so there isnít much of a chance of finding old IPAís or other beers past their prime (which, in Chicago, is very important due to the fact that breweries like Three Floyds have no bottle dating system in place). Adam is super helpful, and loves to chat beer, and with all Binnyís, the prices are as good as you will find in the city.

This is the best beer store I have ever seen. So many beers, itís hard to name them all. Clearly the best selection of American and foreign beers Iíve seen before (the best I have seen in a store is Julioís in MA and this store blows them out of the water). Clearly they get every possible beer they can. And unlike other stores it looks like they actually move the beers (or theyíre experts at cleaning), because I didnít see a speck of dust on any bottles. Decent prices as well. Yeah. I wanted to buy at least $200 worth of beer from this store because of all the crazy things I saw. Wow. Just wow is all I can say to sum up.

What a booze store!! This place is da bomb!
They have it all wine, beer, liquor - life is good! Right next to goose lisand brew pub so i am usually feeling pretty good when I head into Binnys and then proceed to stock up for home.
Get the Binnyís discount card and have at it!!

Use to be Sams, wish it still was because beer purchases actually count toward their bonus card. Adam, does a great job stocking lots of new things and keeping the local ones available. The best Binnyís to shop at.

The best Liquor store in Chicago. Recently renovated (however, the wine section got most of the spoils of the renovation). Gets great deals on beer regularly and the best import selection in Chicago (however their import prices are often not particularly good). Their buyers are very knowledgeable and Iíve seen them at work. Service desk is great to work with if you need kegs and their tap rentals are really reasonable (and they work!). They also have access to pretty much every keg available in Chicago.

Huge selection, though all the good beer (minus some standard sixers and a few bombers) is out on the floor. Seems a little difficult to find some small-release stuff but the standards from a amazing number of breweries can be found, both domestic and European. Better by far than Bevmo, which is the west coast equivalent. They donít have Struise at Bevmo, or Drie Fonteinen for that matter. Iím going to have to pretty much start at the top for selection here, subtract a little for the lack of refrigeration, and throw out the lack of some uber-rarities because I just donít give a shit. Service is pretty much non-existent. This place is a supermarket with mostly alcohol. Weird though that as soon as you step into the wine section, someone is dying to help you find something.
