80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 msante79 (335) Mount Prospect, Illinois | April 4, 2008| Updated October 12, 2008 Stopped on the way home from work and was a pleasent suprse and thouth it was better than the Orland park and Naperville locations. They had nice selection of De Dolle beers. They had better glass ware selection than most binny’s | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 16/20 kseecs16 (194) Naperville, Illinois | January 7, 2008| Updated October 12, 2008 I was impressed by the beer selection here. A fairly small Binny’s with no wasted space. Service was good, parking easy, and prices in-line with any other Binny’s. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 ryanfolty (154) Minneapolis, Minnesota | September 5, 2011| Updated October 12, 2008 Easy to find off 59, but the parking is tight. Nice selection of craft brews but living in MN, my main goal was Lost Abbey, which they had plenty of! The singles section was pretty weak and limited. Prices were very reasonable. | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 16/20 troyc (147) Oklahoma | February 17, 2008| Updated October 12, 2008 I was a little concerned about how the selection would be here since the store opened relatively recently and it was a smaller store in size. I was pretty pleasantly surprised by the selection, and I think it is pretty much on par with the Naperville store. Good service and decent prices. I shall return. | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 16/20 Cornfield (143) Oak Forest, Illinois | January 3, 2008 Situated in the wide open area of west suburbia, this is a place to stop if you need good beer. Spacious, it has a large selection, honestly at least as large as the new South Loop location. (No, no bar and piano, but little pretention and better service.) And they’re looking at expanding the number of beers. I picked up a few new beers, which always makes me happy. And it was an added kick to meet RateBeerian lovemyipas (aka, Dave) there, working as one of the helpful staff. Definitely a place to stop back at. | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 Headbanger (66) Aurora, Illinois | July 16, 2008 I think a beter selection than Naperville. Very helpful people. Clearance is a little pricy and weak. | 92 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 19/20 ilovedarkbeer (66) Dallas, Texas | December 23, 2007| Updated January 4, 2008 Wow less than five minutes from my Chicago house and an absolute mecca for beer. Went in on a Saturday and there were tons of free samples avaiable (especially for beer!). Staff was friendly and helpful. What a great place the selection is amazing!!! I found a bunch of great beers and dropped at least 200 dollars. | 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 18/20 monkeychugg55 (30) Joliet, Illinois | April 29, 2009| Updated December 15, 2009 Of all the Binny’s I’ve been to, this one probably has the widest selection. They do have a singles 12oz. bin, but it’s kinda crap. Other than that the store is top notch and has just about anything you can find in Illiniois. Highly recommended.
| 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 wlajwl (30) Quad Cities, Iowa | July 19, 2012| Updated March 12, 2013 When first walking in, you realize that this is a pretty good sized liquor store. There was a ton of wines and liquors from the middle to the left of the store. The beer was the whole right wall and a aisle or two lined up beside it. The selection was very good, most of what I purchased I cannot get anywhere near where I live. Great beer store, selection and quality were among the best. | 82 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 GranvilleTim (20) Granville, Illinois | April 25, 2009| Updated March 12, 2013 Dropped in after DLD since it was sort of on my way home. I was like a little kid in a candy store for the first time. What a selection. I was in the store for less than a minute before I was asked if I needed some help. The Ass’t Mgr. is very knowledgable about beer and helpful. I only was looking at the beer, but I saw they had cigars also. Definately worth the stop. |
