What a great selection. I have never seen this great combination of American micro-brews and import selections in the same place. Katie was awesome helping me out. At the bar, I got to try some very cool regional beers on draft.

This is probably the best Binny’s. I found a number of beers that I couldn’t at four other stores. Huge selection Belgium, German, and U.S. micros. Tasting room is nice too, had Bourbon County on tap. Prices were reasonable for Chicago.

One of the best selections of beer in the area, solid pricing, and with an on site tap room it is a must hit if your in the area.

Man, this is one great liquor store. The store itself is on the second floor of the building, with an elevator up and their warehouse area on the first floor. Huge store, very nice feel. Beer doesn’t take up a huge amount of space relative to the size of the store, but it’s a truly great selection. Seems like pretty much the only beer store one needs to visit in Chicago.

This is a must visit when in Chicago. This blows Sams out of the water. For starters, the beer is well organized and the entire store does not have a warehouse feel to it. Second, they have a bar that has a great view of the Chicago skyline. They rotate the taps regularly and even have some rare stuff as well. So you can shop for beer and sit down and drink a few afterwards. They also have a very cool high dollar room with VERY expensive whiskies and cognacs. As far a beer, you can find all the regional offerings, micros from around the country, as well as Belgian/ Euro stuff. Prices are on par with the area.

I swung by here on the way through downtown up to the northern suburbs. I managed to get out with only $95 worth of beer but could have easily spent several hundred. Free covered parking, though limited, is a nice touch for a four seasons climate.
Selection covers everything you could possibly want from all around the world. The only issue, if you want to make it one, is they will not break six packs so you may have to buy more than you’d like to sample a few locals (Metropolitan, Half Acre, etc). Prices may have been a bit on the high side with the almost 10% sales tax but in exchange you can buy in one stop almost everything available in Illinois.
The tap room is also worth a stop if you have the time. Constantly rotating through fresh and respected beers I could have spent hours enjoying options such as Port 3rd Anniversary or Stone 13th. The view is typical for Chicago; don’t expect much in that department. Overall this is a must stop if you are willing to brave Chicago traffic or walk a few blocks from the nearest train station.

Easy to find location directly off interstate with parking behind and under the building. Large beverage store with the beer to the right of escalator. Freindly assistant with good knowledge of local brews. Good selection. Went home with everything I was looking for.
