Great store. Awesome domestic selection... Great Lakes, Founders, 3 Floyds, Port Brewing, Lost Abbey, others... Managed to score some of the new 22oz Goose Island releases. Great import selection as well. Nabbed the last 3F Hommage! All the usual suspects represented.... Mikkeller, De Dolle, Struise, etc. Laid out very well. Very clean with excellent ambiance. Top notch whiskey selection. One of the best I’ve seen. Beer prices were right on par with other joints I visit

Went there this morning around 9, just after they opened the place so I may not be able to judge the service beyond the cashier whom rung up my purchase, however he was very friendly. I was in love with the range of micros they had. This was by far the best of the Binny’s that I have been to. Their beer section literally blew me away. They had tons of beers that you could not find in all their stores. I will definitely stop by again soon!

Large parking lot in downtown Chicago was a bonus. Big open layout with a very sizable beer selection of domestic and imports. Good variety of 3F but went back the next day for another sixer of Alpha King and they were sold out. Staff very helpful taking the time to give me directions to another of their stores.

This place is fantastic! Exhaustive selection of wine, spirits, cigars, and of course, beer. Found almost everything I wanted and the stuff I didn’t find, I replaced with equally good beer. Worth the visit.

I was quite fortunate to visit the place while they were holding a tasting. Around 15 microbreweriess including Bells, Sierra Nevada, Dark Horse, Great Lakes had reps there and I could sample a few great beers. The selection is quite massive, probably the largest in Chicago, though next time I’ll definitely visit Armanetti to be sure, though not necessarily the cheapest. Themore upscale West lakeview seemed cheaper. nevertheless, Binny’s had lots of stuff that were not at West lakeview, think Issaquah, much more Belgians, more six-packs kind of stuff. The rarities are not in larger quantities though, but I still feel that it’s a mandatory complement to West lakeview if visiting Chicago (though again, I need to see Armanetti before being trusted on that)

probably the ultimate liquor store in the chicago land area. at worst, there are a couple whos selection might be able to compete, but not much. this is the spot, espically if you are in the area, you must stop in. you wont be disappointed. they have a large cheese section as well.

I think there is a fair argument for this being the premiere Binny’s. Larger beer selection, larger store, overall a nice shop. The tasting room is key at this location. Pretty great beer store.

Nice place, escalator, bar area, cigars, huge selection of both good wine and beers. Love the location and the parking is excellent. Has all the beers the other binny’s has, didn’t notice any beers that weren’t at the other locations but then again this place was huge. Will be visiting this place frequently!

Very impressive layout, a large liquor store with a large selection of brews of all types. And the tasting bar is a nice added touch. But it is, after all, a large Binny’s, and I don’t mean that to sound like I’m putting down the chain. But with all of their room and all of the beer selections, I saw little beyond the three Malheurs that I couldn’t get by stopping at one or two of their other shops. Considering the available distribution of beers, they take few chances. (Take a look at West Lakeview Liquors for a small shop that brings in many quality oddities.) With hope, in the future this large store will rotate in some harder to find beers, interesting ales & lagers beyond the usuals. That said, it is a great place for the beer lover, and I would certainly stop in again if in the area in the future.
