Over our two weeks in Italy, we didnít have pizza we enjoyed more than what we had at Bir & Fud. Lots of great Italian beer available. Manuel is the best and very knowledgeable. This is just about perfect when combined with Ma Che across the street.

The best for beer, the best for food. Great pizza and excellent home made appetizer, this is one the best "house" of italian beer.

Bir&Fud is the italian way to write "beer&food". Itís one of the best addresses in Rome where to drink a beer or have a good dinner. Itís said that bir&fud is one of the best pizzeria in Rome (with Gatta Mangiona and La Fucina). The appetizers are great too, all of them are 100% home made. The desserts comes from the best patisserie of Rome (Cristalli di Zucchero). Excellent selection of italian craft beer for a pizzeria!

It was so charming to walk into this bright, bustling restaurant on Tuesday night. All the beers I had were solid, and there is a good selection of Italian beers offered. Also, I can highly recommend the pizza; however, I had a very weird fish thing here that looked like a walrus and was covered in peanuts. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, and I would recommend this as a great place to have a meal near the heartbeat of authentic Roman nightlife.

The last place I visited in Rome and I concluded my trip with a bang! Wow, simply Wow! First thing first, unlike Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fŗ on the other side of the street (same owners) the
Bir&Fud is all about Italian beer (and food). Italian beer and nothing but Italian beer. Not a single import. Tap selection is about 10 to 12 carefully selected beers. All cool Italian micros. Many of them are draught only beer. And whatís even more cool is that most of them I did not see anywhere else in town. Youíll want to drink them all. Then there is the bottle menu. Very well done, not just a list of names. I did not count how many. A lot. You can even take a chance and ask for something not on the menu. I was looking for Birra del Borgo Duchessic (a strange blend of lambic and Saison) that I did not find anywhere in town. A rare one. It wasnít on their menu. I asked for it and my waiter brought me a bottle!!! You need to understand that the owners of Bir&Fud are not only the owners of Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fŗ but also the owners of the Domus Birrae bottle shop, most likely the best selection of Italian micros on the planet. And then thereís the food. Creative and eccentric pizzas that go perfectly with beer. No ordinary pizzas here. The pizzas really are awesome as long as youíre willing to take a walk on the wild side. You cannot ask for a better and more knowledgeable service. It may not be the best beer selection I have seen in my life or even the best food I have eaten the combination of both, the location and the atmosphere is something special. There are very few beer places on the planet where Iíd like to go back as much a Bir&Fud. AWESOME!

Complimenti

Very Good restaurant in the center of Rome. The ambiance in not very relaxed, too crowded and the place is small with a big 1 room. Service so and so and really slow. The beers iíve tasted was good.
