Visited in February 2013. Great wide open place with good selection of beer. Food was awesome. Good for them for gentrifying

Wow - a damn cool space in the middle of a not so cool stretch of Hastings. Flights appear to be well-constructed, the bottles are all in coolers and the servers are quite knowledgeable. Food is simple but designed to pair well with beer. Excellent and attentive service as well - which is always a pleasant surprise. I like that it’s short - they’re not trying to do too much. A few classics and a few interesting taps as well. Yup - not a whole lot to complain about.

December 9, 2011 [ Updated December 13, 2011 ] Just opened a week ago. A bit early to rate meaningfully, but initial indications are very positive. Not open for lunch. Opens at 5. Decent selection of bottled craft beers and 8 taps. Upscale pub food. Open kitchen. Very busy!

Good service and nice ambience. But the beer is a pretty standard affair - only 8 taps. They admittedly specialize in their bottle selection, all of which are available for 1/3 to 1/2 the price at any off-license liquor store in town. So what’s the point in coming here? So you can gain expert beer knowledge on all the beers they have, they say. Pass - I’m not buying the sales pitch. No reason to come here.

Cool urban bistro with small but good beer list and small but fun menu. Good date place.

New place, had dinner here. The food was okay, and some things were reasonably priced. The beer list is good, the main drawback being that only 8 taps. The bottle list is large but as a beer geek I’m not so interested in paying restaurant markups for the same bottles that are already expensive at the store. But otherwise, another solid addition to the Gastown crawl. The service on our visit was excellent.
