Located near a large mall in the south of Orlando. Stopped here on a business trip. Large bar area is a bit noisy around happy hour. Plenty of restaurant seating, as well. Around 10 taps of BJs beer, along with Stella, Lindemans, and Guinness. Also, the bottle selection includes maybe a dozen Belgians. Porter and stout were OK, a bit thin. Worth checking out if you’re near Universal.

I liked the atmosphere walking in. Nice big bar with plenty of TVs showing numerous sports games. Always works for me. I tried three beers, the blonde, brown, and porter. The porter was definitely the best although the other two were decent. I’ll be back to try some of their other offerings. Decent belgian selection as well. Food was decent as well. Nothing spectacular, but affordable. My bartender was cute, but knew nothing about beer. When I ordered the porter she asked me if I wanted a taster and I said no. She gave me a, I’m crazy, look. But...she didnt charge me for 2 of my pints so she earned an extra point for service from me on that one. I’ll be back to try some more.

Great atmosphere, not upscale, yet somehow not overly casual, but why the garage doors? Decent selection of Belgian bottlings and the eponymous selections on draft. Hands down, I prefer the Porter to any of the others, though strong red ale (?) is a nice selection. Portions are generous and the pricing is more than fair. Seems to be some service issues, lets hop with time that those get worked out.

Spacious with lots of big, flat screen tvs... the focal point being a panel with six flat screens ass to elbow about the bar. Good, piped-in Rock n Roll music. Aerosmith, etc. Huge murals and pics all over the walls... people harvesting barley, American "Beer" Gothic, etc. No smoking. Nice lighting... sparse, but in all the right places. Sun room area of dining area as well. The line-up of beer was solid if not spectacular, just like the BJs I hit in SoCal back in 2004. It’s a nice place... I’ll be back.

I went in be skeptical but the beer was pretty good! I even enjoyed the light beer. The staff is all new so they haven’t worked out all the kinks, the manager seemed nice and knows his stuff. The food was great. A lot of pizza, but we split a few appetizers and got the beer samplers, 7 5oz samples for $8.50 not bad. I’ll be honest i couldn’t tell the difference between the porter and the imperial stout? Over all a good step forward for Orlando.
