I liked the downtown location better than the campus location - the taplist is decent, a handful of West Virginia beers from three different breweries. The service is better, the atmosphere is much more cozy, since the campus location is cavernous. The food is weird and sounds better than it tastes (and looks). Anyway, decent enough, and easy to try since itís smack in the center of town, and just a block or two away from all the other bars - probably one of the easiest pub crawl towns youíll see.

Stopped in on an early saturday afternoon around 2:30. Thereís a parking garage right beside the place, so you could park there. I parked behind Morgantown Brewing Company and walked, so thatís what I would recommend, since the parking garage is metered. At this time of day, I think the lunch crowd had already left so my group was able to walk right up and place our order. The girl running the counter was very helpful in providing recommendations, which I appreciated because what she recommended and I ended up getting, I didnít even see on the menu. The beer draft beer selection was pretty good with mostly West Virginia beers on from North End Tavern, Morgantown Brewing, Mountain State, and Chestnut. The food came out pretty quickly as well as our beer orders. My burrito, more of a wrap as it was cold, was great. Very fresh tasting ingredients with local produce. The salsas available for the tortilla chips were very good as well. Iíll be back in here again for sure.

Stopped by here while rockclimbing around Morgantown. Inside is all wooden tavern feel, live music, younger adult and college kid crowd. Menu is odd ball burritos and quesadillas like Greek and Thai versions of the two. Not too different from Boloko. Except the burrito was then drizzled with sauce on the outside meaning you could no longer eat it like a burrito so what do you do? Use fork and knife and make a gigantic mess? Beer tap list was minimal. Probably 4 taps total plus a lineup of many Sam Adams beers in bottles. Lots of beer paraphernalia all over the restaurant, but the tap list was SNPA, one WV local called 5-Way IPA, and then some sort of local porter that was still on the chalkboard but had kicked. Selection was thus very weak, food decent, ambiance was cool. Service was slow even though the place was not crowded. The live music was a nice touch, but once the band stopped playing there was no ambiant music to replace it, which made the vibe seem awkward.

Outside is plain, inside atmosphere is Bohemian. Downtown Morgantown, parking building is right beside the place. Four on tap at the time, a couple NET brews. Good selection of Rogue bottles, other than that bottle selection is pretty slim. Pretty good service, however they were not busy due to WVU being out for the summer. Food was local ingredients and good. Not a bad place, just not much of a selection.

Visited in March 2010. Pretty much the only worthwhile option in downtown Morgantown other than the brewpub as far as I could tell. Some reasonable options in the beer department with a couple of local beers on tap, including a house Oatmeal Stout that is a rebadge of a Mountain State Beer. Slightly artsy / bohemian feel. Lived in, comfortable surroundings. Lots of people dining but weíd already eaten at the brewpub so didnít try the food. It was a handy place to pop into for a couple of beers after weíd done the brewpub.

The food is a little foo-foo for my taste, but I can usually put something together that suits my carnivore palate. They usually are pouring at least one decent beer. Not my first choice in Morgantown, but Iím happy to go there once in a while.
They get bonus points for having decent live music from time to time.

Rather nondescript from the outside, belying a really cool place within the interior. Seating is in the front of the place, save for a small stage area, upon which live bands frequently play. The selection is small, but generally something decent can be found, at a reasonable price. The food is said to be sourced from local providers to the greatest extent possible, and it seems true, as there is a nice fresh note to all of the edibles. The atmosphere is very warm, very relaxed, and pretty progressive; a great place to take kids for a low-priced dinner. Overall, nicely done.

Selection is the best youíll find in Morgantown. The food is a tad on the pricey side but it was definitely good. They usually have a couple local beers on tap, (Miners Daughter Oatmeal Stout, Roedys Red). A very chill place to go and have a beer and hang out. One of the better places in Morgantown to sit down and have a beer.

This is a pretty nice place. More of a bar attached to a restaurant, but a bar nonetheless. Selection is about the best you can get at a bar in Morgantown. Lots of Rogues, probably 12-15. Dead Guy on Tap. As well as the Black Bear Oatmeal Stout, their own brew (which is actually Mountain Stateís Minerís Daughter Oatmeal Stout). Service is pretty good. Nice people at least. Generally always a live artist playing. Usually something folky. I didnt actually have the food, but it looked good, and I heard good things so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Kind of on the pricey side overall, but its worth it if you want good beer and a pleasant, non-threatening atmosphere.

This place is pretty big and was for the most part empty during a WVU game, I was glad, nice oasis after the fist two stops. It is not dark inside as described earlier. I was surprised to find Mountain State Black Bear on tap, what a relief. Turns out the black bear may be a special oatmeal stout that is made for this place. They also had a fine selection of other micro brews on tap, about 5. No free parking in downtown Morgantown, itís located right off of Don Knottís Blvd. They also have Saranac real rootbeer for the non RBeerians and the kids, pretty good! A benefit that is accepted. Barmaids are nice eye candy. Friendly place, I hesitated to go in here because of the parking, but Iím glad I made the effort. I didnít have time for food today. An overall enjoyable experience.
