Have been there during lunch time and was not that crowded due its light outside the city centre location. Beers on tap were what you get everywhere plus some nice locals. It is quite comfy and cozy and when youíre lucky enough you catch a table outside (when the wheather is nice) you have a nice view to the old city of Canterbury.

I find this pub lacking in atmosphere and its too dark. Thankfully its not smoky anymore. Used to be called hobgoblin and many refers to it as that. Beer is ok but not brilliant pretty standard fare really.
