Great place, made even better with Tom putting on all the extra beers. The food was splendid, too. I’ll make this my firt stop the next time I’m in town!

My favourite pub in Glasgow. Good location, great selection of real ales and american beers, the service is great even when is really busy. And they serve bottles of beer in a wine glass.

This is one of the best real ale pubs in Glasgow. Whenever you are in Merchants City, pay a visit to this place and you won’t regret.

Good location in trendy merchant city area of Glasgow. 5 well cared for real ales on tap, chosen either because they are brewed locally or are nationally rated. Interesting selection of American bottled beers. Can get quite busy after work on Fridays and at weekends. One not to miss for visitors to Glasgow.

Location of the Ultimate Glasgow tasting and start of thge afters pub crawl. Nice selection on cask and bottles. The burger I had at lunch has to be the best I have had in Europe. Highlight of my weekend for sure!

Great place. Ended the first night of RBESG there, had the grand tasting on the Saturday there and finished off there on the last day. Decent and well selected range of beer, Brew Dog a plenty, tasty and reasonably priced food and excellent service. Great music too. One of those places you instantly feel at home and a must visit if in Glasgow.

My favourite Glasgow bar by some distance. 5 cask ales and a decent choice of continental draughts, plus a fridge well stocked with Belgian ales etc. Service good, food excellent (enjoyed the haggis...) and a relaxed atmosphere in a gorgeous part of the city. A must if you’re visiting Glasgow.......

Absolutely superb. Timely visit last night, after the Babbity Bowster nearby. Pub rocking with a lively clientele of all agegroups, and an all-Scottish range of five ales, all well kept and including a sublime Brewdog IPA. Service was quick and local drinkers very friendly. Reasonably priced beer, with everything of 5% or less at £2.90, strong beers at £3.20. Crowd at weekends can be noisy at times, but not so loud as to be uncomfortable; recorded music was at an agreeable level. Live music and comedy acts staged: check with the pub for further details. Recommended.
