A pretty cool regional brew-pub. A little too swank and fancy-pants for me. Never a huge selection of beers available at one time, but theyíre well-crafted and rotated, so I suppose you could return often to try them all. Foodís decent but overpriced, in keeping with the vibe. Service was just fine, perhaps spread a bit thin.

Visited on Sunday 15/02/15 around 9.30pm. Located about a 20/25 minute walk ($7/8 cab) from the main downtown strip, Blackstone is a modern (1990ís?) brewpub with a centrally located horse shoe shaped bar seating the best part of 2 dozen or so, then surrounding this itís largely set up for diners within the largeish main room and there were a couple of side rooms. Large sports screens were dotted around the bar showing various live games. The brew kit was on display along one side. The place was pretty dead when I arrived (2 or so hours late after delays across the pond) but they were still serving food of which I was very grateful and where happy to take last orders right up till 10pm. 6 house beers on draft, 4 regular and 2 rotating seasonals, which were all available together in a flight. Beers were OK, averageing 3.2 for me, nothing stand out but nothing bad. Service was prompt and friendly, that said they didnít have a lot to do. I eat the bison burger with sweet potatoe fries which was decent. Overall woth a visit if in town but no game changer.

This place had a bit of a chain restaurant feel, with one important exception - the sweet smell of wort wafts out to the parking lot to greet you, as the brewery portion is front and center, restaurant is in the rear (I like their priorities). The flagship beers are just OK, but the Blacklist series beers (which I found around town, not here) were excellent. Worth a stop if youíre in the neighborhood.

A fairly large area with plenty of parking. It had a neighborhood feel to it though many were from out of town. 6 brews on tap, all well done but a bit conservative. It would be nice to see one "over the top" brew among the list. We went there on consecutive afternoons and the food was pretty much well done pub fare with a few better offerings. All in all a solid place to spend an afternoon, or evening, with a couple of nicely done brews.

Stopped by on a Friday night, was crowded, several families and a full bar. There were six beers on tap, all were decent. The menu had a lot of different items, only tried a couple of horse duvers. I saw there was a cask handle at the bar and asked about it. Was told it had not worked in a year or two so was a little disappointed there was no cask. Maybe next time. The beers were decent, nothing to brag about.

Big commercial-feeling restaurant. The beer is good and the food was reasonably priced. Service was excellent and they handled food allergies well. Plenty of parking for the location, which is very important to me.

Not great, not bad. Food is pretty good. Loud, very loud in the restaurant. Quality of beers has really improved in the last few years. The Maris Otter Pale may be one of my favorite Nashville beers.

Laid back bar area. Brewing equipment up front. Good service. Food that I saw looked good.
