Nice interior, kind of hipster though. Friendly staff. The beer selection is good, but not great, mostly easily available locals. A good place to hang out and enjoy a good beer. Like everyone else has said, the parking situation here is terrible.

BLAH is a great place especially now that they have expanded their seating. They have some real good food. The salads are really good and the pizza offers some thinner crust gourmet options. Really tasty crust. The beer selection is always solid or better. They have honest pours and clean and proper glasses. Friendly staff. Automatic Brewing is run out of there with Lee Chase formerly of Stone. They donít often put out brews but when they do they are pretty tasty. Hopefully they do more and more but it is not their first priority.

Not bad but had a little bit of a prentioutious vibe to it after Hamiltons and Toronado. Good Pizza and decent selection. Lots of kids running around with lots of upwardly mobile parents. Big open space.

First off, no parking anywhere. Drove around the block a few times and finally found one. A nice open area inside with plenty of seating and tables. No chairs at the bar! I stand in line to order beer and food. The young lady behind the cash register tells me they only have 1 of their beers on tap and itís a Hefeweizen (donít see one listed). I think it was the Automatic (Belgian Ale) that has good ratings, wish I would have ordered it. They have a nice guest tap list of mostly local beers. Had a pizza, it was either pretty tasty or I was very hungry. They have a nice display of old beer cans from beers past. Overall, not a bad place but I probably wonít go back.

So i will need to re-review this place in the future. I went on a monday night which normally i guess they are closed. They were open but not serving food.
I think it was some sort of art opening.
The space is awesome. The beer selection didnít tickle my fancy but was more than adequate (15 mostly san diego specialties.)
Food is supposedly amazing but they werenít serving that night.
staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable.
This is more of a restaurant then just a beer spot.

First off, there are two things I really hate about this place. They open at 5pm. I mean really 5pm? Come on, 2 or 3 or something. Second, there is no parking and I mean zero. Maybe 3 spots within a block that you have a chance in hell of getting. The positives, the beer selection is solid. Ambiance is very nice, but no TV. Havenít had the pizza but the saladís good. Service was hipster.

BLAH is growing on me. At first I wasnít that impressed, still not a big fan of their pizza but this place has character and good beer. Plus theyíre about to start brewing on a very small scale and THIS is what Iím most looking forward to.
The entire place has a history as the bar, wall, stools and tables are all recycled from somewhere. Tap list is good, although I wish they wouldnít sometimes bury the best beer in a flight of 5 beers.
Anni party was fun and itís also a family oriented joint. Good beer, good place to bring smaller kids, although Iíd avoid the place with kids after 9pm. I know I donít watch my mouth when itís that late.
I continue to hit this place up in the North Park area as a must-go-to. If only I drank more!
Canít wait to try the new beers!

Iíve only had the chance to visit this place once so far, and itís a shame because I live relatively close by. Inside is an open and clean setup, so it doesnít feel crowded, until you order your beer and find that thereís not an open table in sight. We were lucky and found a group ready to leave just as got our beers (I had Allagash Curieux and Lost Abbey 10 Commandments that night). I canít comment on the pizza as it was too late to order any food, but their menu looks awesome. They also have the game "Apples to Apples" which is the funnest game ever and not many bars have so, props! Overall: Clean, friendly service, good beers on tap. Return: Yes. #49 on 03032010. DG.

Went here during SD Beer Week í09. Lots of great stuff on tap, although it was a bummer that a lot of the better kegs kicked before I got there (around 10pm). The place is also ridiculously small, but they keep it from getting too packed by not letting too many people in. The downside of that is that you might have to wait in line outside. I had to wait, and even my "Donít you know who I am???" trick didnít work on the guy at the door. Finally I got in and liked what I saw. Great beers on tap: AleSmith, Port/Lost Abbey, Alpine, Russian River, etc. I ordered an AleSmith Nautical Nut Brown and a Lost Abbey Devotion Ale, which were only about $4 apiece if I remember correctly. Also had a pizza, which was above average but not great. The crowd is a fun one. Next to us was a pack of cougs in their mid-30ís, who my buddy once removed (i.e. a buddy of my buddy who is not necessarily a buddy of mine) spent most of the night hitting on. Having a serious girlfriend myself, I wasnít able to partake in this cougar hunt. Oh yeah, and this is listed as "Blindy Lady," but Iím pretty sure "Blind Lady" is the real name.
