Un must de début d’après-midi alors que l’endroit risque de moins déborder. La sélection est minutieusement étoffé avec plusieurs vintages. Le soir c’est un microcosme grouillant de vie.

Very loud and crowded when we went. Lots of beers, although it was a Ballast Point night and I had had them all. Probably a very good selection otherwise. Just a bit too stuffy and u comfortable. Would like to go back during the day.

Visited on a Thursday. Quite packed and the volume was horrible. Sadly, the staff didn’t turn of the music to help alleviate different groups trying to outshout each other AND said music. Otherwise cozy place. Food menu was limited and the actual food ok but not great. Draught list consisted of a nice mix of local beer (Rushing Duck) and great beer from all states including Racer 5 and some Allagash stuff. Bottle list was short but well put together with lots of semi-vintage stuff.

Sort of a dive craft bar in the hip West Village area. Crowded with slow service. Decent tap and bottle selection.

A- This place had a great vibe. Came in out of the cold January weather into a nice cozy warm bar with a fireplace. Fairly dimly lit with candles on each table. Very cool looking. Q- The quality was good, correct glassware, tons of beer, everything I tasted was excellent. S- Service was a bit rushed but thats to be expected for a busy bar. Fairly average in this aspect in my opinion. S- The selection was absolutely great. It seems like they rotate through these fairly often too.

Stopped in just before the after work rush. First impressions are always important. Blind Tiger was down to earth and comfortable. Both bartenders were knowledgeable, but busy. Two draft lists were around the bar, and easy to read. Cask list was also about. The food was outstanding (Hit up the Brussel Sprouts)! Prices are average for any bar in the area. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you are in NYC.

Dark and a little worn out, I like this rustic watering hole on busy Bleeker Street. Very nice and a quite huge selection of American craft beer on tap. Very reasonable prices. Menu looked tasty in a pub-fare kind of way, but I didn’t try it.

Fairly standard pub format, just has about 30 beers on tap, nearly all American, with a good range of styles. A great beer venue.

Blind Tiger is located at the corner of Bleecker Street and Jones near the West Village.

The exterior is nice and divey looking. The inside is small with a couple tables immediately past the entrance and the L-shaped bar tucked away in the rear with stools around it. A couple windows looking outside, faux fireplace, and hanging lights. Several chalkboards in the bar area listing the beers.

The tap list is around 30 with breweries like Oskar Blues, Cigar City, Kuka, Allagash and River Horse. Three casks as well, and around 20 bottles with an emphasis on Sours and vintage brews.

Service on a relatively busy weeknight was pretty good. We were at a table and had to go to the bar for service, and the bartenders were fairly attentive and knowledgeable.

My colleague and I split a grilled cheese as a late night snack and it was good.

Overall I give the nod to Rattle N Hum as far as my favorite NYC bar of the evening, but I would definitely stop in here again on future visits.
