Dropped in here on a busy Saturday night. Great selection of beer and a huge tap list. This place was rocking the whole time we were there. Great bartenders and clearly a local place. No tourists to speak of. I’ll be back here for sure.

Dark and a little worn out, I like this rustic watering hole on busy Bleeker Street. Very nice and a quite huge selection of American craft beer on tap. Very reasonable prices. Menu looked tasty in a pub-fare kind of way, but I didn’t try it.

Fairly standard pub format, just has about 30 beers on tap, nearly all American, with a good range of styles. A great beer venue.

Blind Tiger is located at the corner of Bleecker Street and Jones near the West Village.

The exterior is nice and divey looking. The inside is small with a couple tables immediately past the entrance and the L-shaped bar tucked away in the rear with stools around it. A couple windows looking outside, faux fireplace, and hanging lights. Several chalkboards in the bar area listing the beers.

The tap list is around 30 with breweries like Oskar Blues, Cigar City, Kuka, Allagash and River Horse. Three casks as well, and around 20 bottles with an emphasis on Sours and vintage brews.

Service on a relatively busy weeknight was pretty good. We were at a table and had to go to the bar for service, and the bartenders were fairly attentive and knowledgeable.

My colleague and I split a grilled cheese as a late night snack and it was good.

Overall I give the nod to Rattle N Hum as far as my favorite NYC bar of the evening, but I would definitely stop in here again on future visits.

Small darkish place with faux fireplace, loud obnoxious New York crowd, good beer selection with 30 on tap. I did not sample the food this time but generally liked the place.

A bit of an on-New York like corner pub with big fireplace and large bar. What is very New York though was the bartenders (busy, young, knowledgeable, occupied) and the tap list (good, American, pricy yet not focussed on rarities). It is certainly a good spot as a tourist to go to, also because the streets around it are full of nice small shops. The food was quite nice, except perhaps the flatbread which tasted (sorry) a bit like frozen pizza; the pickled veggies were great though. Nice place. A tat bit too impersonal perhaps, but it is NY after all.

A very popular hangout for the Bleeker St crowd. Usually a really awesome taplist, that will usually have some great affordable options, as well as some special releases and other harder to find beers. Prices are standard for the area. It can get very crowded during events and on weekends. Definitely worth a visit for out-of-towners.

Finally made it out here! Nice atmosphere (cool looking inside) and ton of taps with a ton of great beers on (I was lucky to make it out the day after their Allagash event, and everything was still on tap). Great grilled cheese and tomato soup combo!
