Nice mid-sized traditional bar, with a good location in The West Village. A good range of taps, ranging several styles and breweries, and also some European treats. The bottle list is not really extensive, but has some excellent choices. Service is not the best in the city, but the staff is service minded and seems fairly knowledgeable. As for prices thereís no complaint.

Cozy wooden interior. Friendly, knowledgeable waitress, great beer selection. Limited food menu, but my chicken/chorizo tacos (a special for the day) were excellent. Iíll go again next time Iím in NYC.

Great spot! A couple dozen or so very interesting taps and some well chosen bottles. Didnít eat, so no comment on food. Place was busy, but we found room at a table and got to chatting with some locals. Was a great time. Only small complaint is I found the service a bit cold, like I was a pain for wanting to drink their beer. Oh well, Iíve had tons worse.

The first several times I visited Blind Tiger, I was completely convinced it was at least 25 years old. I think that is very telling. It has such a good attitude and vibe. Their draft list has a lot of variety on it, and it is very East Coast centric. It gets pretty packed, and even though the food is good, itís nearly impossible to sit down. There are plenty of restaurants nearby (itís Manhattan, of course there are) that you can hit up quickly before going to Blind Tiger if you need some food. We recommend the risotteria! Itís gluten free! (on accident...according to the waitress)

Perfect place in the middle of Bleecker St. The beer list was excellent and from what I see it turns over fairly quickly. Itís a fairly closed-in place but itís well lit from the street. The people are all there for the same thing...good beer, so everyone speaks the same language. The crowd was 7:3 guy to girl ratio on a Wednesday afternoon. The two behind the bar kept a good sized crowd pretty satisfied even with no room at the bar. Definitely gotta stop here again.

like all great beer bars, when itís crowded, itís loud and not super comfortable. and itís easy enough to avoid crowds, if you pick your visiting time carefully. though even when itís packed, i manage to get served pretty quickly. they have lots of great events -- clearly, they work hard at making the beer list and experience interesting. itís definitely in my top 10 all time, all locations beer bars.

Get the Chicken Cutlet sandwich!!!
I wonít spend the time for a full review since there are already so many, but this place is awesome! We were lucky and got the last 2 seats at happy hr on a Friday. They were very busy of course, but the staff kept up well. The beer selection was excellent and the food was equally as awesome. Prices are higher than Iím used to, but average-to-lowish for NYC. Iíll definitely be back next time Iím in NY

Consistently the best tap list in New York City, with the possible exception of Torst now.

Ambiance was a bit giche, beer stuff all over the walls, small place, dimly light and cozy. Service was very good, friendly, and willing to talk about beer. Selection was high quality stuff, nothing rare, but lots of good beer to choose from. Food was excellent and pretty cheap not just for NY price, but anywhere. Certainly a worthwhile destination if in NYC.
