Get the Chicken Cutlet sandwich!!! I won’t spend the time for a full review since there are already so many, but this place is awesome! We were lucky and got the last 2 seats at happy hr on a Friday. They were very busy of course, but the staff kept up well. The beer selection was excellent and the food was equally as awesome. Prices are higher than I’m used to, but average-to-lowish for NYC. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in NY

Ambiance was a bit giche, beer stuff all over the walls, small place, dimly light and cozy. Service was very good, friendly, and willing to talk about beer. Selection was high quality stuff, nothing rare, but lots of good beer to choose from. Food was excellent and pretty cheap not just for NY price, but anywhere. Certainly a worthwhile destination if in NYC.

Supposed to be the place to go in NYC. I can see why people say this. Has old school charm and a nice selection to choose from. Food was good and came out fairly quickly. Good selection of imports and local beers.

They were up to a bad start when they refused my then pregnant wife entry, despite having a Swedish driver license proving she was way age limit, and it was obvious she wasn’t going to drink. However the beer selection made up for a lot of it. A relatively wide selection of keg and cask ale served in a loud and crowded bar. How the bartenders managed to keep the waiting time to a minimum on this friday night I don’t grasp, but it was impressive work.

Best beer bar in Manhattan.. Great ambiance.. good crowd. Kind of a shit show on weekends.

This is a must stop every time I am in NYC. No matter what area of the city I am visiting, I always find my way to the Blind Tiger. Such a great selection of beers, mixed with an Old World feel, how could you beat it? The fireplace could be my favorite part of this bar!

Recent visit on early Saturday..snagged a seat at bar..place was open but got quickly packed fast..ambiance is good..dark wood..fireplace going is nice..28 drafts on tap with several cask offerings as well..main beer board has info like abv and more details than side board..this is a pretty tiny place and I can imagine how one would have a much better visit if snagging a seat at bar..really only a handful of tables..food offerings are snacks..sliders..sandwiches..Mac and cheese etc..they do have food options listed on separate board..tried the veal meatball slider..served with melted cheese and basil..very good..liked that one is also able to get chips at bar..Rt 11..has a real neighborhood vibe to it and bartenders are quite good and willing to let you sample..also like that they were willing to offer half pours..very good selection with a wide range of stuff from all over..caters clearly to beer lovers..very well done..

Saturday (2/16) late afternoon visit: This place was very crowded (standing room only), but that didn’t take away from the great character and vibe of this place. Nice location in Greenwich Village and adjacent to Jones St where Bob Dylan’s famous album cover ("The Freewheelin’ ") was shot. Tap list was impressive and had a nice selection of Belgian-style and local NY beers. I would love to be able to call this place my neighborhood watering hole.

Always a great selection of beers. Usually crowded and a bit loud. Catch ot on a quiet winter day and sit by the fireplace. Cold brew, warm fire, weathered book...heaven!
