Classic bar and thereís really not that much else like it in the village. When I went the selection was a little boring, and they donít seem to take beer that seriously, but it really depends on when you hit it up. Johnís pizza across the street is good.

Great bar, tiny, but with a huge selection of interesting ales. Atmosphere to shale a stick at, decent prices.

Crackiní neighbourhood bar. I swung through mid afternoon and after avoiding being flattened by a lorry due to roadworks completely blocking the footpaths (thanks NYC), I managed to make my way in and easily grabbed a spot at the bar. I was greeted with proper tunes playing through the speakers (think jazz and blues) and at perfect levels not to interrupt conversation. Friendly and chatty barstaff who were attentive but not over bearing whatsoever. A really good selection of taps with something for everyone. I didnít order food but the smell wafting from the kitchen was epic. Itís a no-brainer to come check out Blind Tiger whenever in NYC.

Old style ale house, with 30 taps. On my visit, it was very busy at lunch time , they were getting ready for a beer launch, one member of staff was trying to get things ready, the other was struggling to serve beers, bring food, but was still able to find time to check on us.

A nice cozy place. Got here around noon on a Wednesday so the bar was not crowded. I did not have food here. Beer selection is good considering the size of the bar but 1/3 of the tap they had on the day was from one brewery. Good service. Stout served chilled was interesting but it did make me slow down to warm it up a bit.

I have not reviewed this place before although been there before this last visit (03/2015). Cozy pub with the fire place. No flights but 4-5oz sizes available. Beer selection, always rotating taps, is interesting. Nowadays when NY area have got lots of new breweries, many local brews on tap. Bottle selection seems quite alright too. Service was nothing to complain. No Wifi. One of my favourites in NYC.

A very cool, cozy neighbourhood bar in Greenwich village. Their tap list is about half full of interesting stuff from around the world/U.S. and a third to half full of stuff from NY area. Crowded on a Friday. They offer pours and half pours when I was there. Cool atmosphere.

Nice little bit of harsh place with interesting and versatile tap list. Getting crowded already at 13.00. Stouts (and probably all the beers) are served as ice cold. Big minus for that.
