This brewpub is located just beside the massive tourist attraction Landungsbrücken in Hamburg - but due to the fact that we were there right at opening time, it was not that busy when we arrived like when we left. Service was very friendly, also very child friendly, and very fast. Beers (two on tap) were ok and drinkable, the chips with the homemade tomato sauce and mayonnaise were very tasty. Prices for the beer and chips okay, for the other meals a little bit too high. Only recommended for the beer ticks due to the many tourists.

Has all the markings of a tourist trap, but it could be a lot worse. If the weather is nice enough, head up to the terrace for one of the best views of the harbor. The beer is predictably boring, but competently made. The interior is actually rather tasteful, but there’s no hiding the fact that the place is intended for serving several hundred tourists simultaneously, and that doesn’t exactly help the ambiance.

Did have both the normal beer and the weisse. Waiter a bit confuced, no food, just beer? Yes, you are a brewpub, right? A bit unfriendly. Limited selection.

A massive place at the harbour! Went in early and it was rather quiet and got samples served, which is a plus! Service was efficient, choice is limited to their own brews. I did not try the food. Ambiance is set to get large groups of tourists in, so not really my cup of tea.

12th Dec 2014. Impressive set up: three storey high block on the waterfront. Huge interior with the brewing equipment in full show, slick and smart feel to the whole building. Early lunchtime visit, so plenty of space and tables to choose from. We went up to the first floor and took a window seat, cracking view of the river and it’s trade as boats and ships passed by. What a pity about the two beers on offer: bland and uninspiring. Food looked good, but we had eaten before arriving. Top floor and terrace closed, but I bet it is lovely in the warmer months of the year: maybe their summer beers are more interesting than their winter brews?

Visited 12/2014. Enormous open, two-storey clean place right at the pier, mainly lying in wait for hords of tourists group to disembark from their visit to the Lion King on the other side of the harbour. Given that, service was friendly, prices fair and their Pils "herb" and Winterbier above par, for HH.good pit stop with potential view of the harbour/Elbe.

Huge brewpub placed at the very touristly Landungsbrucke. Have a nice wiev overlooking the river / harbour. More or less empty at our visit. 2 beers on tap, a helles and a bock, both was ok, but rather boring. Fairly fast service, and prices was fair for the area. Didnt eat.

A two-storey beer hall type place next to the harbour. The interior is rather boring, not exactly cozy, with lots of loud annoying schlager music being played. Still not as touristy as the location would lead you to believe, at least not on a Friday afternoon. Beers are average, service is slow. Tick the two beers and move on.
