Very laid back place. This is a place to come with a very small group of people to chill out. Nice older guy behind the bar. This is not a beer bar per se, but certainly if you live on the Yokosuka base this is the best place around to drink beer. About six Anchors, including magnums of the Christmas beer, and five Red Hooks. I will definitely hang out here when visiting Yokosuka, but cant recommend making a special trip here.

Glad someone got off there ass and entered this place. While there is nothing here that will blow your doors off they do have a solid selection of anchor (Liberty, Steam, Porter, and Foghorn) with our Special Ale making holiday appearances. Saranac seems to be working into the line up and a rotating cast of Brooklyn, Sam Adams, and Red Hook bottles. No food to speak of but it is worth mentioning they do a great cup of coffee here too. Live Jazz about once to twice a week and every now and then in the winter, random pickup Jam sessions with the locals. Interior is bigger then most Japanese bars, dimly lit without being too dark with enough room for a small stage area for live music, normally it is pretty quiet and the regulars are friendly and will talk your ear off after a few. Very homey and comfortable. Should you find yourself in Yokosuka, this is certainly the place to check out.

My local hangout and pretty much the only place in Yokosuka to get a good beer. Bottles only, no taps. Seems to always have the Anchor lineup and has started to regularly offer a few Saranac brews. Tonight they had Samuel Smithís and Red Hook, as well. Also had this years Our Special Ale from Anchor. Not a huge selection but solid. Also offers Guiness and a few other macros. Tends to be quiet and Iíve been known to take a book to read while enjoying a brew. Friendly bartender seems to know a good beer. I hear they have jam sessions from time to time where you can bring your guitar and join in. Also has live bands fairly often. Blue in Green also sells (yes, sells) vintage guitars. If you arenít in a beer mood they have a nice lineup of bourbon and whiskey.
