Maybe I hit this place up at a bad time but this is by far the worst tap list I have ever seen at ratebeer bar rated 80 or above and this is a 97 at the time of review. I don’t expect it reach that high again.
This is the list:
Bitburger Premium Pils German
Rogue Dad’s Little Helper
Rogue Mocha Porter
Kinetic Combustion IPA White India
Lips of Faith Pluot
Rogue Farms Chipotle
New Belgium Peach Porch Lounger
Rogue Chocolate Stout
Rogue XS Dead Guy
Stone IPA India
Noble All Night Long
New Belgium Cascara
Rogue Juniper Pale Ale
Firestone Easy Jack.
Whose stupid idea was it to think having a bunch of Rogue and New Beligium’s was appealing? There is 1 not nationally distributed California beer. You guys are a joke. Its ok to have events, but you need to have at least 1 baller or rare beer on at all times to be a top spot.
They had a vintage list if you can call an old Older Viscosity and Red Poppy rare. They had a regular bottle list that was a list of every widely distributed national beer. I was hoping, I was just wrong on the taps but alas more cluelessness.
It was also really cool paying $10 to park for a 20 minute visit.

One of the best beer bars I’ve ever been to - so glad we stopped in. Got there right when they opened and learned that on tuesdays during their happy hour, all beers are $4 a pour. Damn! 24 beers on tap with a great selection from CA. Ask to see the bottle list - it was quite impressive. They have a ton of Firestone Walker beer available by the bottle. I happily spent $45 on FW13. Food was really good. Service was good as well.

Best beer bar in Hollywood without a doubt. Food is superb, 24 excellent taps a a bunch of well curated bottles including some rarities. Parking sucks and the space is a little awkward but I like it. Bring back the shuffleboard table!

Stopped in here right after they opened. We had lunch a few blocks away so it just seemed to work out amazingly well for a visit. Atmosphere was a little slow to develop but once more people began to show up it was nice. Service was a little slow but as the server said one of the bartenders didn’t show up on time so she was doing two jobs at once. Quality was quite good. My beers were top notch and the food looked quite good, although having just eaten I did’t partake. Selection was solid all around. I didn’t find anything on-tap that I was that interested in but bottle list was stellar so I decided to get one off there. Took awhile to find it in the cellar but once they did I was able to enjoy it for a more than reasonable price. Speaking of prices, I thought all but a few of the bottles were reasonable and the food was much the same. Overall a really nice place in the heart of the city, I would definitely return if I was in the area again.

This was a nice, relaxing spot. However, I arrived, with co-workers during the Seattle vs. San Francisco game, and it was fucking packed. However, as soon as the game was over, the place was dead; albeit, we were there on a weeknight. The food is pretty good - I had the fish tacos. The service was spot-on, and prompt. The tap list wasn’t horribly extensive, but I definitely didn’t have a hard time finding something I like. I didn’t check out the bottle list, but online it looks really nice. Great place, and really chill.

We visited Blue Palms Brewhouse on 19.12.2013. Was vey surprised to find a real beer bar on Sunset B. Nice small bar with some tables. 25 beers/ales on tap, great selection, mainly from California. Food quite good, had mussels, very enjoyable. Drank Pliny the Elder, Sierra Nevada Celebration, Craftsman Sour and some more. Definitely a great beer bar!

Cant say anything bad about this place...classic Hollywood Craft Beer Bar. Went before a show at the Pantages and will go back ASAP. Great, rare beer list and fair prices.

Visited here for dinner while on vacation in early August ’13. Can’t add much more than what others are saying. Excellent beer list especially for an east coaster - plenty from Russian River, Stone, Pizza Port to name a few. Prices were not outrageous for the selection (Pliny the Elder I think was only $8 or $9). Food was incredible - lots of gourmet choices. Nice atmosphere - people just enjoying good beer who probably didn’t realize how good it was (i.e. not a lot of beer geekery going on). Most definitely Worth a visit if in the Hollywood area.

Visited many times since opening. I dont get out to Hollywood as often as I should but when I do I make sure to stop in at Blue Palms. It is a popular LA bar but despite that they have a lot of good taps and some really neat bottles. Brian has some Firestone connections so they often times have some vintage or otherwise interesting Firestone stuff. Also, they usually have the "house beers" (Firestone Hefe and IPA) and a large assortment of other random guest beers. The food is quite good, the service is also good (though it can get pretty busy), parking sucks. Over all a great place.
