just a little puzzled by the last review...sucking ass and such...we offer 50 beers on a draft and nearly 150 bottles. The crowd is usually as diverse (young, old, gay, straight, black, white) as the short north itself. I wonder if googlyglurp was having a rough day.

Outstanding selection and good beer prices during happy hour. Busy and full of OSU people. Bar food that is better than most.

best selection in town..... and half-price happy hour! dont expect any pubgrub here, no loaded nachos wings or cheese fries, kitchen is small and oriented to small artsy sandwiches and pizza. Parking is an issue in Short North.

How can you not love a place that has Old Rasputin, Breakfast Stout, Oak Aged Yeti, Brooklyn Monster, and more on TAP!? They even sell half pints of some of their beers, which is great for tasting all that wonderful goodness, and from 4-8 they had everything on draft half price. Are you joking? This was an awesome stop. I am so glad I checked ratebeer before I went out to eat. The service was above average, the food was great, and it just doesn’t get much better than the beer they offer. Definitely recommended.

When I visited: Late January 2013.
What I had: Green Flash Palate Wrecker DIPA and Victory Prima Pils on tap, white wine and cocktail for my girl.
What I liked: Ridiculous draught and bottle lists, bartender was spot on with her recommendations and happy to provide samples, managed to find seats right away despite it being super busy, cozy bar with chalkboard in plain view, good college crowd, really fun vibe on a Saturday night, love the Mikey’s Slice joint right next door.
What I disliked: Certainly attracts some hipster types but we didn’t feel out of place here.
Would I go back? For sure.
Overall Rating: 88

Definitely not let down by the beer selection. A really great beer selection. I was going to start talking about the food which can be hit or miss, but why bother? If you are going to Bodega you are going for the beer. There is always something for everyone. Staff is knowledgable and pleasant. Go for the beer, stay for the beer. I wish this was closer to my end of town, but my favorite place does not have as many beers on tap as this but has had most of the same ones, including Three Floyds. This is a fine place to go for craft beer drinkers. Bodega is a must

Began a trip down High street to the blue jackets game here, great way to start and it set a high bar. Great draft list! US micros with local brews too. Bodega has just started their own offerings, from Seventh Son, had a couple of those, a nice Ipa with cascade hops, a nice American string ale at 7.7%, they also had a brown ale, and a stout that was a bit smokey. Really nice beers. Rest of the draft list was impressive. Staff were cool, although the waitress recommended a Dipa to a Molson drinker we are bringing along into the light. Food was very good.

Made the 12 block trek from downtown one night after a conference. This place was packed with coeds. Service was awful because the place was so packed. I heard their happy hour is half price drafts from 4 to 8 pm. I got that price on one of my beers but not the other. Dozens of taps. I can’t rate the food because my group would not be able to get a table for over an hour. We quaffed 2 standing in the doorway and went to Barley’s instead.

Bodega is awesome for a beer lover who also happens to be an art lover. 50 taps, very good food, and they are constantly rotating new taps in. Moreover, all drafts are half off weekdays until 8pm. What keeps me from going every day, is that, the service has never been great especially on the weekends and it is extremely difficult to find a seat during busy bar times. Cool thing about this place is that they have a featured brewery every month - the last couple have included Great Lakes and Stone. The atmosphere is artsy and the crowd is trendy sort of like every other place in this district.

The best draft beer selection in Columbus, and a great happy hour. I love going to Bodega for happy hour, if you don’t get there early expect it to be busy. Service can be spotty, and food is descent, all in all a great place for people who like good beer!
