Large draft and bottle selection. Lots of rare stuff to enjoy if you go in on the right day. I recommend going for happy hour as it tends to get mind-numbingly crowded as the night goes on. Food is good and most of the staff are knowledgeable.

The best draft beer selection in Columbus, and a great happy hour. I love going to Bodega for happy hour, if you don’t get there early expect it to be busy. Service can be spotty, and food is descent, all in all a great place for people who like good beer!

Heard good things in the end this place is just pretentious. Pretty good bottle selection. Quite a few on draft, but nothing great. Atmosphere is not great and service was not good.

Tripped over this place while driving thru campus.I heard about this place so I stopped.The ambiance was nice nothing special.The patio was a great place to drink a beer and watch people.The service was lackluster at best.They seemed a bit bothered but hey they are college kids right?The beer selection was real good with 50 drafts and lots of bottles.The appetizer was decent.I think I would only stop here if I was driving by again but wouldnt seek it out.

Stopped in here after a visit to Pace Hi and Weilands Market. Wasnt planning on the visit, just happened to notice it as I was heading down High street. Sunday afternoon and it wasnt that busy. Approximately 5-6 college age people working the floor. Not one of them said hi to us. Service was slow bordering on bad and really quite unacceptable for the time of day. I think it overshadowed the good this place offers. There is never an excuse for bad service. Even near campus. Awesome tap list. Nice selection. We ordered teh blue chips and well, they were okay...Kind of tasted like they were microwaved in the back. The vibe is okay. Kind of like a place trying really hard to be cool and casual. The waitstaff definitely acted like they couldnt be bothered with us. Which was incredibly disappointing. Glad I came but wont make the trip again. FAR better beer bars with awesome food and great service to wast time here. This was a disappointment. Never a good sign when you have to go hunt your server down for your check that only had two beers and an appetizer...Great people watching though!!

Easy to find location on North High with street parking that was easy mid-afternoon. Clean remodeled building with the bar center and right with tables in front and along left wall. Freindly staff with good knowledge of beers. Good selection of taps and glass front cooler with view of bottle selection. I had a new local brew but had already had lunch. Very good locals location and worht a visit when in town.

A very good place with an appreciation of good beer. It’s just a little hipster, just a little upscale. Seemed almost like a late 50’s beatnik vibe, with a nice fieldstone wall and low-slung architecture. The selection was outstanding, including DFH Palo Santo Marron on tap, and pretty good beer knowledge on the part of the bartender and the neighboring stool occupier. This was my first trip to Columbus, but Bodega is respectable by the standards of the top beer bars in the country.

This place is a long six-block walk from Barleys brewpub, but worth the effort. It isn’t far, but seems quite a bit longer than six blocks. Inside, the vibe is cool and trendy. Bricks, a nice bar, and a few tables. However, the place isn’t above some TV entertainment (and neither am I) via two projectors on the wall. Entertainment that doesn’t detract from the vibe. I was disappointed by the beer selection when I entered and saw tap handles visible above the bar - all the wannabe good-beers were there (you know, the beers you see in places trying but failing to be good-beer places): Boddington’s, PBR, etc. However, there were a ton of great taps hidden behind the bar, and an extensive bottle list and selection was terrific. Beers were a bit pricey. I was tempted by the cheese plate, but didn’t have any food. The menu was light, but looked terrific.
