Great, a lot of different beers and changing all the time, that bothers me in some way, because I cannot taste them all sometimes. The price per pint is a little high, but I like then people there, You will feel welcome.

My "local" real ale house. Good atmosphere - quiet during the day, busy at night. Good for watching live football on TV. Very friendly staff who mostly have worked there for a long time. Only pub in Glasgow I know to give free New Year pint to regular customers. Great beer selection, every pint is perfectly presented. Food is standard pub grub of good quality but is amazingly inexpensive. Arguably the best real ale house in Glasgow.

Excellent selction of very well kept cask ales and a few decent bottles as well. Knowledgeable and pleasant staff. Owner saw me taking notes and gave me a tour of the cellar and a bit of banter, so i can vouch for how well kept the beers are and also for the fact that he is a capital fellow. If I had to make a complaint, I’d say keeping the cider on the bar top under the lights was a bad idea and the selection does tend to come from the same few brewerys, lots of repeats if you go in regularly, still a great pub though.

A fantastic place to eat and drink, more from an ale rather than beer respect from the draft selection. But its in the fridges where the hidden beer gems lie! Chimey blue and red for the belgian fans and Andechs and Konig Ludwig heffe-weizen for the german beer lovers. Great prices and service from a friendly and knowledgeable team!

Visited on a grey Winter day where it never stopped raining and this place certainly brightened up proceedings! There was a Welsh ales festival on during my visit and the landlady was very helpful giving me info on their previous and planned future events. The bottom room when quiet is really relaxing and there are plenty of ales to choose from here.

Excellent beer, good grub (the yorkshire pudding is brilliant on a winters day!), good selelction. Who can ask for more?

Excellent pub. One of the best in Glasgow. A selection of 10 cask ales which change regularly. The bar has an excellent selection of single malt whiskies. In addition if you are looking to fuel up the food is very reasonably priced

Glasgows main bar for cask ales. Great selection of beers always on offer, however i find im begining to have tried alot of them. Could do with a better bottles selection maybe, but for glasgow an excellent place.

Come for the beer, stay for the whisky. Actually, no. Come for the whisky, stay for the whisky, and forget about the beer. Their beer selection is unexciting. Focus on the shelves behind the bar. This is a world class whisky bar with an incredible selection of affordable and elite expressions of Scotland’s finest drink. And they just happen to have a few real ales. They also have a showpiece/not-for-sale Brewdog End of History that you can pet. The staff was very friendly, we sat at the bar. Bartender Scott was particularly forthcoming, helping us choose which whisky we wanted, making suggestions and letting us nose several before buying.
