Part of the large West in Hotel and located on the 4th floor of the building. Hard to find if you donít know your way around the building. Bar area, tables and a patio. 5 house beers and half a dozen guests. Mainly business clientele holding events at the hotel. A fairly narrow selection of beers but ok
The main plus of this place is itís central location. Apart from that both setting & brews are nothing special.

Visited on the way to Weiland. This is located in a big mall/hotel which is pretty neat. There is a giant atrium with a column in the middle that has shops in it as well. Really cool place, even though I hate malls. The service was slow and inattentive which at first I thought was strange as they were pretty empty at that time of day (maybe 3pm). You might make the argument that they donít keep a lot of staff on during those hours but seriously, I think there may have been 3 other customers besides me in the place.
The beer situation is strange. They have some house beers and Iíve read articles about their brewer BUT they have several Belmont Brewing beers on tap being served as house beers. Actually, the strawberry blonde was the best beer I had. Maybe they actually brew at Belmont? Not sure I want to put the effort in to investigate that. I didnít eat, but rather just had my flight and glass of water and headed out to Weiland.
This place could be a lot better if they had better house beer. Who knows, maybe it IS a lot better during hours where they are staffed properly.
Can be a little bit difficult to find. If you enter through the front doors of the hotel on Figueroa, just go up to the 4th floor on the stairs, escalator, or elevators. The brewpub will be on the right hand (south?) side of the hotel. Smallish interior bar and restaurant seating area with plenty of seating out on the patio. Service was friendly and I took my beers out to the patio area to enjoy the weather and the view. Beers were okay (two of them brewed by Belmont in Long Beach). Worth checking out once or if youíre staying in the hotel.
Luckily though I was only at the Westin for a day, I still had lunch at a brewpub! A clean upscale type place with a nice busy outside area. 4 beers on tap and Stone Smoked Porter as a guest listed as Smoked Stone Porter. Prices were fair. The food was good. Beers were watery but all decent.

I went here because I had a $25 gift certificate. I had the Blackened Ahi Tuna Sandwich, served rare, which was good and filling. The service was very friendly and quick. But I came here for the beer and itís awful. The interior of the restaurant is so boring and unattractive and I couldnít sit outside because the area was closed. Also, it cost seven bucks to park after validation, using their parking available. Iím never returning to this place and I live within five miles of it.
This isnít a bad place as far as the bar goes, by LA standards itís fairly cheap and the service is friendly. Itís a nice enough place to hang out and get lunch or dinner, good food at reasonable prices. The only downside is that the house beers are all absolutely terrible, they taste watered down, they lack any flavor other than that of CO2, shame really because if the beers had been ok I would definitely have recomended the place.
What a hard place to find, if you havenít figured out, that it is situated on the fourth floor of the World Trade Center/Bonaventura Hotel. Arriving weíd worked up quite a sweat walking from the metrostation with two heavy suitcases (full of beer) each, so when we finally arrived and sat at the fourth floor garden, not too far from the pool we were thirsty. The setting, sitting like in a garden in downtown LA on the fourth floor looking at the skyscrapers is quite nice. They had 4 beers on draft - of which I donít know if the strawberry blonde was brewed on premises. I had a wonderful and very filling Blackened Ahi Tuna Sandwich. The service was nice, reasonable fast, and informative about the beers.

Not a bad place - they have OK brews for a corporate establishment. Had the GF Nut Brown and Flank - food was good, and this was nice.
