58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 12/20 DiarmaidBHK (523) Pennsylvania | October 11, 2012 I can’t complain too much about this place since I didn’t pay for the meal. It’s located in a big building on the main drag but parking is a bit scarce so be prepared to pay cash. The beer is mediocre and the server didn’t seem to know much about it. The food was solid but not spectacular though they were pretty good with groups. I probably wouldn’t go back if I had to pay for it. | 44 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 4/20 rumproasts (63) Grand Rapids, Michigan | September 27, 2012 I didn’t eat there, but the food looked decent. The beers on the other hand ranged from bad to mediocre. 8 taps, but unfortunately, all house beers. Service was good. Lots of regular customers, so at least some people must like the beer. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 Caytinator (63) Tucson, Arizona | September 22, 2012 Pretty chill place, even late on Friday night (unless they have an event). I couldn’t tell it was a chain, which I guess is how they like it. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, and I gave them "10" for selection since they have 8 of their beers on tap, which is pretty good for a brewpub (I usually see 4-5). The scottish ale was great, I want to go back and try some others! | 66 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 13/20 PapaMick (6) Jacksonville , Arkansas | January 13, 2012 Excellent food and well versed servers House brews, though not always in this brewery, that rotate around a core of 4 or 5 standard taps Great for business or family. Many regulars bond together around the mug club | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 ben4321 (163) Hoboken, New Jersey | August 29, 2011 I liked this place. Right in the heart of the River Market (which has a pretty small heart). The place has good food and solid beers. The had 8 of their own brews on tap when we visited it, which ranged from mediocre to solid (though they become much more solid when you compared them to what else is available in Arkansas). I’ll be back. | 70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 csaso (126) Missouri | August 23, 2011 First one of these I have been too, apprently there are 4 of them. Decent selection of beer - about 6-7 of their own, pretty good quality. Food was good - had the cedar plank salmon, lots of flavor. This place did have a little bit of a "chain" kind of feel, but nice overall. | 60 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 fata2683 (131) Tucson, Arizona | June 18, 2011 enjoyed a good dinner here, prices are on the high side and the beer is average compared to the other 2 spots in the city, but this place is on the busy riverwalk area of the city so it’s a convenient stop. | 44 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 2/10 OVERALL 8/20 Braudog (655) Hampton, Virginia | December 19, 2010 December 2010. Visited during a dead Friday lunch hour and sat at the bar. The bartender was overtasked -- not sure why. Just had a couple beers and left. This Bosco’s has a more upscale feel than I remember from the one I visited in Nashville. The beers were OK. But despite the brewing equipment in the corner, the presence of a delivery guy from their main brewery in Memphis rolling kegs in and out made me wonder if they even brew there at all. Disappointing. Go to Diamond Bear instead. (Brewery #526). | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 15/20 Mikeus (4) Arkansas | April 2, 2010 Typical chain restaurant feel. I would rate this place a lot lower but for the fact of two beers they serve: Firestone and Hook Slide ales. Hook Slide is one of the best session beers on a hot day. Refreshing and delicious from the first to the last gulp. | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 lithy (156) Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania | October 23, 2009 After securing a sort of illegal street parking spot I headed in shortly after 11, dining area had already a few tables, I sat at the bar and was quickly helped to some samplers of their beers, bought a bottle and had to run. Service was good though. Looked like the other Boscos, beer was brewed on site and was about as expected. 8 beers on tap, Hook Slide Ale also served at local minor league baseball games. |
