Visited around 6pm on Monday 28/04/14.
Bottle Barn is a well sized warehouse style bottle store about 3 or so miles outside downtown Santa Rosa.
The selection was solid but didnít blow me away in terms of anything rare or that I hadnít already seen in other bottle shops in the past week.
RR wise they had no Pliny on my visit but did have a couple of their Belgian and Sour offerings.
Quite a few beers are in fridges if you need instant gratification.
Beer selection from across the US, large number from CA as youíd expect, allied to a smaller amount of European stuff.
Decent enough bottle shop but no wow factor nor would I feel any great urge to return even if in the area.

As I walked in I was amazed at the size of this place. I know lots of people say its not the size that counts, but sometimes its nice for a liquor store to be this big.
I didnít talk to anyone except the guy at the counter who rang me up but he seemed nice enough. I didnít really have any questions so I wasnít dissapointed at the lack of employees attending to people on the floor.
The selection was phenomenal. They had Stone Imperial Russian Stout and Old Guardian which have been out of stock everywhere in the area for months as well as a huge selection of rogue, hair of the dog, russian river, lots of belgians and more.
The prices all seemed reasonable and you were able to part out some of the six packs which made it even better. All in all a great beer store.

Supposed to be the best shop in Santa Rosa? I feel bad for the area, because if thatís the case then they have the worst selection in Cali despite RR down the road. Mostly wine here and I did find some nice Crooked Stave regulars and the latest Almanac sours. BA Old Raspy was there, and snagged a Four Roses Eclipse. Prices were pretty decent though. No RR in stock, kind of sad. Glad I was able to find some things worth seeking out, but nowhere close to what I had expected. Only OK.

Visited on a Tuesday morning in February 2014. During the visit all the beers from Russian River were sold out but fortunately there were a lot of other interesting beers plus a lot of different bourbon.
The prices were excellent, cheaper compared with stores in San Francisco, a bottle of FiftyFifty BART cost around 10$ less than in SF.
This place is located not far from downtown Santa Rosa in an industrial area. Well worth a visit if visiting Santa Rosa.

Great little bottle shop just outside downtown Santa Rosa, thatís definitely worth stopping in at. Selection of Cali beers is pretty solid, as is it for Belgian beers. Prices are reasonable, though the service is a bit haphazard. Great bottle shop.

Iíve been here several times after visiting Russian River, usually the morning after but occasionally I screw up and go in before drinking Pliny and want to load up on Russian River stuff. The fact is you can get most of your Russian River needs here for a little bit cheaper than the brewpub (which is how it should be) but who really needs a case of Pliny? I do. Well actually donít but I think I do. Aside from Russian River they have a number of other things scattered around the beer area in a seemingly unorganized fashion. The prices are generally pretty good and they donít have limits on most bottles. Service is friendly and if you look lost enough they will come by and ask if you need help but Iím generally just browsing and donít care much about getting suggestions. Iíll continue to stop back in when in the area.

A fine enough bottle shop. They had small Belgian, UK and German sections. There were more Cali and some other west coast beers. I didnít see any singles besides the 22 oz and foreign beers. The value is excellent though. Itís better than the grocery stores and worth a stop if youíre driving through the area.

Great beer store in an industrial area of Santa Rosa. Ambiance is non existent here since itís basically a cavernous warehouse with no decor. Lots of liquor and wine, with a smaller beer section. What they have is top notch. Loads of locals as well as Belgians and even a good German section. The prices are the best thing about this place. WAY lower than anywhere else Iíve seen. I bought a Parabola here for like $11 last year. They also seem to get beers that other places donít. The service was very good as well. I asked about a specific beer, and after checking, the guy told me that they donít carry it but Whole Foods down the street does. Very nice to direct me to the competition! I try to go back here whenever Iím in town.
